Thrillville (PlayStation 2, 2006)

my son wanted it for xmas the only dislike about it was the shipping took to long. the game is a very cool game my son loves it and so does my 4 year old

Ordered item as a gift for my son for Xmas around the first of December. Never received item. Sent message to seller three times over a few weeks period and got NO response from them. Filed a claim last night with half.com and waiting for the status of that now so I can get a refund. Very dissapointed in experience.

My son is eight years old and loves this game. He plays it every chance he gets. He loves to be in charge of the amusement park and building his own rollercoasters. I recommend this games to kids since they will enjoy it with all the fun of an amusement park and the learning of how it works.

This is one fun game! It's great for parties with the four-player mode. The songs are catchy, and the parks are neat. You get to ride roller coasters, and go-cart tracks YOU design! Play tons of mini-games! Interact with, and challenge any of the guests! Train your staff! It's easy to see why the game got a Greatest Hits title! Very addictive and imaginative! Perfect 5 out of 5!

Thrillville is a great game to play. As the park manager you can do it all. You are in charge of building rides, and then you can ride on them too. You also can just walk around the park and talk to people. It does give you the ability to "flirt" with people as well, but these lines are all just pretty cheesy pick up lines. Managing the park finances is great and you can earn extra cash by completing goals in the park, and playing the games. My 11 year old son enjoys the game, and as his non-coordinated mom, it is a video game that I can play as well. He offers to help me make it through the race games, or just laughs loudly as I fail to complete the course as quickly as the computer opponents.

My son will not stop playing this. Good for him. Bad for me. LOL He likes all the interactive fun.

Thrillville is actually kind of dissapointing. Last Christmas I coud not wait to get it. When I played it the mini games were fun but the rides, come on man, seriously. the roller coasters aren`t fast at all. But enough with that, on to the good stuff. The mini games for example are awesome. The flirting though is hillarius. That`s what I think but it could be totally different for you.

I loved all the mini games you could choose from, and that when you want to finish a roller coaster you can just press a button and it would connect by its self.Plus You can ask your guests how they liked your park!!Plenty of rides to choose from, and has a great story line!!The only thing I dont like about the game is the graphics could be better.

i've played every rollercoaster tycoon game there (currently) is, up to rct3: wild!, and each game/expansion that came after was, to me, more fun than the previous one. then i bought thrillville for my ps2 and found it even more fun to play. the only downside, albeit a small one, is training mechanics. it's also hard getting high scores in the challenge games, too. i'd recommend this game highly to anyone. i give it a strong b+.

So it was Christmas time & my daughter just had to have this game. Of course she got it, even though Santa got the credit.....but guess who she had to chase away from it??? Mommy! I am sssooo guilty of stealing the controller from her. The theme park games have EVOLVED into something pretty AWESOME!

We played this game non-stop - beat it - and have played it again!

If you love these types of games then you MUST get it. It's way better (graphics & everything) than any other theme park game put out to date!

i bought this for my sons birthday and he loves it. the reason i bought it on ebay is because it was new unopened and the price was less on ebay. i love to save money on items if i have time to wait on the mail. great way to save a couple of dollars. thanks ebay

I purchased this game for my grandson for Christmas. It was mailed out right away from the seller and I received it in plenty of time for Christmas! It was exactly as described, new and sealed, and my Grandson was Thrilled when he got it.

I thought it is a great game for kids that are atleast 8.It had many minigames and alot of things to build.I didnt like when you got to the next park you have to earn all your money again. The missions were challenging and fun. I am on the last level and the missions require going to the other parks. Overall I would say it is a great game to play.

I Purchased this game from ebay as a Christmas gift but my 8 year old talked about it so much that I decided to give it to him before Christmas. He loves rollercoasters and has several other games building rollercoasters. He loves this game and plays it often. It is far more sophisticated than his computer rollercoaster games. I read a review that at the time it was first realesed it was rated number one in England. It is a winner!

I bought this game strictly for the mini games and minigolf in particular. I was not interested in the roller coaster design aspect.

For starters, not all the mini games are unlocked when you get the game, in particular mini golf. You play enough mini games and mini golf will unlock.

Mini golf was okay, that's about it. There are five courses but holes are repeated and some of the holes are lazy, that is very little effort went into them. Each course has 9 holes.

As for the other mini games, there are not 20 unique games. There are duplicate racing and shooting games. The games play like average PC freeware and they're okay, neither horrible or spectacular. None of them really stood out.

If you want to play mini golf on your PS2, here's a game that will let you do it but don't expect anything special. If you pay more than $5.00, you'll probably feel like you got ripped off.

This is a GREAT game! I love the fact that my kids creativity is sparked, and that every time they play it never seems to get boring. That is very important when you are the one always buying the games! My rating for this game is EXCELLENT x 100!!

My grandson was very happy when he received the game, even thought he noticed a scratch on it. When he began playing it, the game locked up in less than 5 minutes of play. He tried to play it a couple of times but it locked each time. A full refund was given.

My kids love this. There is a part of the game that teens flirt and use pick up lines though. My 4th and 2nd grader thought this was hilarious, but my wife didn't like it.

This is a game that we purchased for our 5 year-old daughter. It is very easy for her to figure out what needs to be done to play this game. The graphics are very good and the quality of game play is good also. It helps her learn some strategy as well as being plain and simple fun.

The object of the game is to build a theme park and make money. Some of the mini-games are harder to play than others, but then what would the challenge be if you were able to play this game and finish it in an hour. It does have a pretty good replay value to my daughter.
