Thriller [Remaster] by Michael Jackson (CD, Oct-2001, Epic USA)

The remastered edition includes new liner notes, interviews about the albums making, and a few bonus songs. Someone In The Dark is a very beautiful song although the E.T. singing was a bit jarring. There is a demo version of the huge hit 'Billie Jean' that was recorded before the regular version was eventually made. The last bonus track 'Carousel' is a bit dissapointing. It's only one and a half minutes long. The song should have been at least three and a half minutes long. Oh Well.

At least there are great new liner notes, and great photo stills taken from the video and behind the scenes.

Although the remastered edition could have been better this CD is absolutely incredible.

It's a shame that so many people my age completely missed this album during it's heyday although it's still immensely popular. I was only about 7 years old when it came out but it is one of the earliest memories I have of listening to music.

Thriller I bet will more than likely be still available in 2082, 100 years after it's release. It's that good. This CD is timeless.

Every track has it's own personality, but all together they make a beautiful album. Michael's voice really shines in this album especially in "The Lady in My Life". You get the three main hits..."Beat It", "Billie Jean", and "Thriller". Then you get a few softer, sexier tracks. The first track, "Wanna be Startin' Somethin'", gives me kinda a POW before we move into the rest of the album. Everything about it is wonderful and EVERYONE should buy it!

The Quincy and Rod interviews are great to listen too and there are some funny anecdotes. The extra pics are worth the buy especially because of the baby tiger. "Carousel" is one of my favorite unreleased Michael songs. You also get to hear an extra verse spoken by Vincent Price for "Thriller". All of it is worth buying the special edition.

This is an amazing album, I highly recommend this album to all Michael Jackson fans. It's simply amazing. I bought the CD a long time ago, and I still enjoy listening to it. I'm truly inspired by his work, he's very talented.

I didn't know I was getting a little music and allot of talking (from Quincy Jones!) I wanted music not interruption ...it reminded me of something like a television special that was casually recorded onto a CD. I am disappointed over all. I would not recommend Michael's fans buy this one.

This is one of the best albums of all time.. Michael jackson is and will always be thes best ever! This cd has a specail edition Billie Jean track which is gret and fun ti hear the way MJ wok=rked in the studio...

from a very talented artist. I enjoy listening to every song on the CD.

I was looking forward to 100% of Michael's music on this CD and only got about 50%. The other 50% is interviews with people of no interest to me, and the dialogue is uninteresting as well.

This is Excellent CD. This is an A++ CD! I love all of his music so I can't pick a favorite song. LOL! 5/5 Stars! This is a must have CD!

My husband loves this CD. He has borrowed it to listen to in his car and it has not been back in the house since (smile). The songs bring back memories of Micheal Jackson at his finest. We own the orignal LP; which is in execellent condition; however it does not fit in a CD player.

What is there not like about this cd-It's Michael Jackson after all in his prime. Most of the songs I had not heard in a very long time and they brought back so many memories. Michael Jackson was truly The King of PoP, ahead of his time and a musical genuis. I decided to buy this cd because I did not have this collection. I was overseas in the military when Michael Jackson was still with the Jackson 5. We (Military Personnel) were not exposed to most of anything going on in the United States. You learned early on to miss TV, radio and at that time cd's were unheard of. This cd is like catching up on history for me.
Since this was a remaster of the original Thriller album I intend to enjoy it.

Good job. I just wish the arrival of the product could have been sooner, however; a lot of people were ordering MJ's products.

What is not to like about the Greatest and most talented entertainer ever? A sealed Thriller [Remastered] in 2001 CD...just perfect to pop in the car and listen to the master King of Pop! Music created before the CD was invented and enjoyed forver as the will the memories of Michael Jackson and the legacy of his music, talent and everp present generosity. MJ Forever!

This is an excellent Cd, From an excellent artist RIP Michael. We will miss you and your music, Songs like Thriller stick in your head and stay there.

This is a valuable Michael Jackson Collectible that hopefully will be worth more in the future. This item was unopened and in excellent condition. The songs are fantastic. In fact, I am thinking of buying a used one cheaper for my own use.

I collect the Michael Jackson's CD's. I purchased this one because it was the Gold edition. I received it and afterward noticed, it was the same name but not the same picture, so I opened it, just to find out it was not the gold edition either. Very poor communication wth seller. All, I want it the cd he was selling. He refuses, and wants to give me back only $10.00. I paid 15.50 I do not feel this is fair, plus he was deceiving anyone who wanted to buy this Gold disc. Its not The gold one.
