Great music from a great time and erra Loved Micheal Jacksons Music back in the 80s had it in cassette tape and vhs back then had to have it in CD& DVD

i love it! the dvd was sharp and clear and the sound was great i decided to buy this item because i am a big fan of mr jacksons
and very proud of his lifes adchivements and my greatgrandson who has the same name michael loves michael jackson michaael jackson maybe ahead of my greatgrandsons time but his dvd moonwalk and thiller has made a great impact on him he even trys to dance like michael jackson and stand on his toes in his bare feet yet, hes still number one far as my grandson feels and i think michael jackson out ranks spider man and sponge bob

Who doesn't like Michael Jackson, it was wonderful. I love the music and the words to the songs are so meaningful. This was one of his bests works ever.

I love everything---except for the fact it was advertised under false pretenses: the ad said I would be getting the rare holographic cover collector item CD/DVD, but I did not. Other than that, everything was perfect.

I bought this on Ebay because this CD also has the DVD along with it that contains most of Michaels videos, there is the same CD out that has only the CD and in many cases are the same price, this CD also has the pull out booklet that has the written lyrics, and dedication, and a few pics of Michael here and there, Great CD set I listen to it over and over again, makes a great gift for any Michael Jackson fan

I bought this CD/DVD set because the beat of Michael Jackson's music draws you into each song. When he dances, he "becomes" a vital part of the music. It is not typecast into a specific era. It is the timeless, classic, Jackson style that intrigues me to listen to it and watch it over & over.

I read through many of the ads for similar items and chose this seller because the BUY IT NOW featured free shipping and the location was within my state. There were plenty of similar products for auction for less $$ but I thought that the seller being close and free shipping were advantages. I like to buy locally when possible. I bought it but when I got the invoice there was a shipping fee. I asked seller about it and he said that there was an error in the ad. He made no offer to explain the charge in the invoice or to remove the charge when I questioned it. I paid with PayPal and I see that he has increased the price in the new ad. I think he should have offered to ship free since I pointed out the error. Beyond that, if he had offered to remove the charge I probably would have paid it anyway, but he never offered. I buy a lot on ebay and issues such as this have rarely been a problem as most sellers realize their mistake and don't make it the buyer's problem. We are only talking about a couple of dollars here, but Free Shipping is an attractive feature that I am drawn to and I don't appreciate it when it is presented and then withdrawn after the committment is made.

I have always loved the Thriller Album by Michale Jackson, but never had a DVD of him that group of songs and movies of them. Due to his tragic death I decided to get it and remember him as he was. Sad days now that he is gone.
Although he had his bad times he was one of America's icons of music for generation of people.

The 25th Anniversary edition of Thriller is a must own CD. The presentation of the CD is great, with top-notch production evident throughout. The original tracks still sound amazing. And the new remixed song versions should introduce younger R&B fans to the man who started it all. There are many reasons to buy this version of the album even if you already own it. This version includes remastered mixes that sound great. This album also came out at the height of vinyl and casettes, so a lot of people may not own the album on CD. Old school fans will be seduced by the awesome holographic CD dust jacket, sharper re-mastered original tracks and included bonus DVD videos. Younger music fans who love will.i.am, Kanye West, Fergie and Akon will be attracted by the remade versions. Hard-core Michael Jackson fans might not like those new versions as much. Still, no matter how you slice it, this 25th Anniversary edition belongs in your collection.
THE TRACKS AND EXTRAS It's impossible not to hear the songs from this album from time to time, yet it had been a long time since I heard the original album in total, tracks 1-10 on this CD. When you listen to it again, it's impossible not to realize how amazing of a production this truly was, and still is even 25 years later. Every single song is a number one hit, and Michael moves through genres including pop, rock and R&B with ease. See my awards summary at the bottom for more on this. The remakes can't possibly match Michael's original accomplishment. Yet they are not as bad as many say. I actually like the Akon version of "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin." And Kanye West's "Billie Jean" mix highlights his abilities as a producer.The included DVD includes the short film music video versions of "Billie Jean," "Beat It" and "Thriller." These videos are historic in their own right, each one a high budget production better than a lot of the movies made in 1982. There's also a nice liner jacket with all the original lyrics and cool album art. There's also the Motown 25 performance of "Billie Jean." For those that don't remember this performance, it's the one where Michael first does the moonwalk on stage. It takes quite a performer to pull off a rhinestone shirt, rhinestone socks, sparkly jacket, high-waters and one white glove!
It's amazing to note that Michael Jackson actually wrote most of the biggest hits on this album, something today's R&B artists rarely do. Most of the biggest hits from the album are his original works, including "Wanna Be Startin' Something," "The Girl Is Mine," "Beat It," and "Billie Jean." "Baby Be Mine," "Thriller," and "The Lady In My Life" were written and composed by Rod Temperton. "PYT" was the work of the legendary James Ingram and Quincy Jones. And Steve Porcato wrote both "Human Nature" (with John Bettis) and the newly released "For All Time" (with Michael Sherwood), number 16 on this edition. I really liked this previously unreleased track, and it definitely has a sound akin to Human Nature. I can only speculate that that similarity is what kept it off of the original release. Thriller is an amazing cd. So many great hits in one cd. Michael is amazing in this. Clearly visible why this is the number one top selling cd ever.

This is a replacement of an original album from so many years ago. It is great to have the music back only now with added bonus tracks. I had the album way back in high school and the music just brings back so many memories. It is wonderful to hear it again and relive the memories. Thanks.
