    This DVD is about the true trials at Salem during the witch hunts of 1692. Based on actual courtroom transcripts, it reenacts the hysteria that gripped Salem. This particular story is about Sarah Cloyce, who was reexamined before a special court of inquiry in Boston in 1703 about the details and mystery that surrounded the witch trials eleven years earlier. At that time her two sisters were judged to be witches and they were hanged until dead. Vanessa Redgrave plays Sarah Cloyce.
    A disturbing piece of history, but all too true. Tells us what mass hysteria can do to people, and the crimes they will commit in the name of God. A lesson to be learned from the past.
