I bought this movie for my grandson. He had always liked this movie and wanted it for his collection of DVDS. I told him that we'd check to see if someone had it on EBAY and sure enough I was able to get it for him. He was thrilled and has watched it several times since it came.
I caught this movie on cable one day and liked it. Made me remember all of the nuttiness that was high school. We all knew a guy in school that was a loner, a rebel! And this had it! Kinda annoying though it had that woman that voices lisa simpson in it, but oh well. Still a good movie, and greatly exaggerated lots of stuff!
we've all had someone bully us (somewhere in time)well at 3o'clock,Jerry has a showdown with a fearless crazed bully (Buddy) JERRY KNOWS HE HASN'T A CHANCE! So before 3'oclock,he'll take measures to make sure the showdown never happens! (funny, and fresh til the end)
I really like this movie cause HBO used to play it alot back when it came out. I decided to check on e-bay to seee how much for this movie and i got it at a reasonable price. There is nothing i dislike about it. I bid on it and i received it in a timely manner. It was a funny movie.
This movie was filmed at my high school in Ogden, Utah (they makes you believe it's in California), and tons of my high school friends are in it as extras. It is such a hoot to watch, not only because of these reasons, but also because it is just a fun show. My teenage girls love it! (Especially they love to laugh at the '80's fashions!)
I bought this dvd because I always liked it in college so I needed to own it. My older boys think it is hilarious as well. Good purchase and ebay is only place I could find it.
I bought this movie Three O'Clock high on DVD and what I enjoyed on it was the quality and picture that it had. I decided to buy this movie because I seen this movie back in 1988 as a High School senior. It sure brought back memories. It had a good story behind it especially when it came to Jerry standing up to a mean bulley like Buddy Revell. I found it quite humorous as well and is up there in the league with the movie "Ferris Bueler's Day Off". There was really nothing I disliked on the movie. If you're into movies with drama and humor, I recommend this one. You'll enjoy it.

Three O'Clock High *

Pros: Fast, fun and very funny
Cons: Dated a little perhaps
The Eighties teen-movie sub-genre was dominated by some pretty lame ducks; whether it be the laughably misjudged musings of The Breakfast Club, the insipid tribulations of being Pretty In Pink or the questionable angst that accompanies having Sixteen Candles on your birthday cake, being a teenager had never been so ludicrously overwrought. However, thanks to the likes of Risky Business, Ferris Bueller s Day Off, and the brilliant shenanigans of Better Off Dead (and anything else starring John Cusack for that matter), being a teen could also be wacky and fun. Falling into the latter category...

Why did Stephen Spielberg have his name removed from this?

Pros: Entertaining and passes the time
Cons: It's not "Gone With the Wind," or anything
Psst: Hey, world? STEPHEN SPIELBERG WAS ONE OF THE EXECUTIVE PRODUCERS OF THIS MOVIE!!! YES, HIM!!! THE ONE WHO WENT ON TO DIRECT "SCHINDLER'S LIST" AND "SAVING PRIVATE RYAN..." HE WORKED ON "THREE O'CLOCK HIGH," TOO. YES, THAT'S "THREE O'CLOCK HIGH." T-H-R... You get the picture, Stephen Spielberg was involved with the project but opted to have his name removed. Usually when filmmakers do that, it seems to more or less be because they find the film so bad that they don't want anybody to know they were involved, which I'm am going to guess was old Steve's intent... But why this film? Okay, ...
