The Thing with Two Heads (DVD, 2001)

Sometimes people see a movie and say it's the best the movie ever. It should be known that “The Thing With Two Heads” is as good or better than any movie they ever mention. This is inarguably the definition of classic, brilliant cinema at the apex of the filmmaking craft. The movie does start slow, and it may be hard for some movie lovers to get into it for the first 20 or so minutes, but when it becomes clear where the story is going, soon it takes off, culminating in one of the greatest car chase scenes in film history, as a seemingly unlimited amount of police cars try to capture 3 fugitives riding a dirtbike around an enormous grassy, wooded field. A haunting ending and an inspirational credit sequence earns this fun and unforgettable narrative it’s place among the Pantheon of legendary experiences.
