This book has changed my life in all areas, it's not just about losing weight, it's about who we are. This is truly straight from scripture and it will draw you closer to the Lord in a way you never could have imagined. It gets into how God created you as an individual and how He wants you to maintain your body. This book is really not about food or exercise, it's about you. I have lost 30 lbs. from following the advise in the book and I did eat whatever I wanted. The amazing thing is it was so easy because the Lord won the battle for me. It has been 4 years and I have not gained any of the weight back and many of my friends have joined in with me and they are all dropping the pounds as well. This gets to the core of who you are. There is no other wieght loss program like this, even "Wiegh Down"and "First Place" pale in comparison because you are still doing the work and having to perform. With "Thin Within" God takes control and you are under grace, you are free. Jesus came to set us free and He wants us to be free from addictions, not do things to make them go away because then they will always come back, this way you are being released. This book will help you with any addiction, sin or stronghold in your life, you can apply this book to just about anything. There is nothing bad I can say about this book, it breathes life into the ruins of our human body.

I have joined a Thin Within Program at my churchand this book is a great tool to go along with the program.

A great contrast to Gwen Shamblin's WeighDown Diet. The difference is this is Grace based instead of Works based. I would recommend it to especially those who are wounded, b/c it teaches with a gentleness. I wish I had known/read this instead of Gwen Shamblin's books. It could have prevented me from a lot of condemnation. I would recommend this book along with the reading of the Book of Romans, that says who we are in Christ.

If you are ready to stop dieting, this is the book for you. This book is all about getting to know God and realizing that He is all you need to stop dieting forever and finially get to your natural weight. This is not a quick fix, this is a life style change and an attitude adjustment. I bought the book because I was ready to get on with my life and stop eating low fat, no taste food. Buy it!

I bought this book after reading a magazine article that included Heidi's story. I am enjoying and appreciating the mindset approach....faith based.

This is a great book. This has really revolutionized my way of thinking towards food and weight loss. I recommend it to anyone caught in the ups and downs of dieting.
