Thicker Than Water (DVD, 2006)

It's hard to find movies these days that are good for most ages to watch. Thicker Than Water is one of those. It's a heartwarming story about family and life. Melissa Gilbert is the main character and as I find with most of her movies, perfect for the role. Brian Wimer plays the male lead role and I remember him from the tv series China Beach. I first saw this movie on the Hallmark Channel. I was pleased to find it available on dvd. You can harldy go wrong with a movie that's been brought to tv by Hallmark. Would recommend this movie to anyone, although girls/ women may like it more then men.

Nice movie about a girl who finds out that she has a step family she never knew she had. And why they chose to keep the fact a secret til her fathers death.

I had seen the movie on TV. It was a good clean movie, Kept you interested, and a love story all in one. Very Good, I'd recommend it to anyone.

I am not much for watching romances, but I found myself watching this one time and again. I even talked my husband into taking me into the part of Southern California that this movie is about, just to get more of the feel of the movie. The characters were so interesting; especially with their passions for truth, for horses, for the meaning of family, and for love. I loved the resourcefulness of these gal characters,such as
trading coveted shoes for workboots, swiping DNA, putting shoulders to the shovel with determination when they believed it would help someone else. Be prepared to feel along with them

Saw this movie on the Hallmark Channel and liked it so much I had to buy the DVD. Heart warming story of family love and consideration and generosity.

I liked the fact that you can buy and recieve items so quickly. I love Hallmark movies and would like to own a lot of them.Mellissa Gilbert is an amazing actress, ad I follow a lot of her movies.

One of the best movies I have watched. It's a good, clean family movie. A movie you can watch over and over.

I purchased this move on E-Bay after seeing the movie on Oxygen network. I am a big Melissa Gilber fan, have watched her since Little House on the Prairy. I'll buy more of her moviesw as I can.

This was a good and believeable story. It brought out the Cowboy in Me, I've always had this thing about Horses and Rodeo's and the performers lives. Mostly it was the horses Ms.Gilbert was good as she usually is, in what ever she does. I watched it and bought it because of Linnsay Wagner I still think of her in the show the Six Million Dollar Man. Regardless what your reason is for buying this movie it will give you enjoyment for years to come. I hope that one day other studio's will start making other movies such as this one. So my advice is to buy it, rent it or whatever, Just get out the popcorn put your feet up and watch it with someone you Love.

I like this DVD. When I first saw this on TV I only got to see the ending and I've always wanted to see the whole thing all the way through. It was great.
