These are two of the Duke's best WW2 Films. I am partial to PT Boats and hence enjoyed They were Expendable. It has several well know actors - George Montgomery ( Elizabeth Montgomery's Dad), Ward Nond and several others.

Exellent DVD a must for John Wayne & John Ford fansTwo superb Wayne films one directed by one of the Greates Directors ever in Hollywood "John Ford". There is nothing I dislike about my purchase. I am a fan of all the the Ford and Wayne collaberations They Where Expendable is one of the best. Flying Leathernecks is a great tribute to the US Marine Pilots in the Pacific during World War 2. Both are a must for fans of the genre and Wayne.
