If you like Ringu and The Grudge. You'll probably enjoy this movie. It's set in Chinatown, during "hungry ghost month".
General synopsis is there is a young chinese boy and his white mom who can both see ghosts. Only they don't know it. The mom and dad both believe that it's "all just superstitious nonsense". Then, then boy gets kidnapped by the hungry ghosts and his mom and dad have to rescue him before dawn of the last day of hungry ghost month.
No real blood and gore in this one. Just a good ghost story to be enjoyed by the family.
If you're looking for blood and gore, naked co-eds, cursing and steamy love scenes. this is definately NOT your movie. But if you're looking for good plotline and pretty good acting, then get the movie. you won't be disappointed.
