These Are Special Times by Celine Dion (CD, Sep-2001, 550 Music)

Good CD, but some of the songs I was not familiar with.....A bit different from most Christmas albums. However, I know that many people like this CD....Just depends on one's likes and dislikes, I guess. My favorite song on the CD is THE PRAYER, a duet ---- Celine Dione and Andrea Bocelli.

I heard one of her songs on the radio and just had to have it. The music and her voice go hand and hand and you feel like your in a "special place" when listening to it. That is a great feeling, especially when your listening to it at work!!

Celine Dion could sing the yellow pages of the telephone book from A to Z and make the hair stand up on the nape of my neck! When looking to build a Christmas CD collection I turned to Ebay---when I saw this I knew I had to have it! I am thrilled. With both classic and traditional Christmas favorites and new songs, Celine soars above all others! A pure winner. If you have an opportunity, purchase this one! You will not be disappointed!

This CD soothes me as no other x-mas one I have. I use areas of it for my Motorola Ringtones around the Holidays Also. Celine's voice range is amazing, and I just feel blessed to be listening to it. I bought a copy for my Sister and her family, and I intend to buy more for next year. Thanks Celine for having such a beautiful voice!!!

I like this cd because of the emotions put into the songs. They are sung from the heart. I bought this cd because I lost my old one. This is the type of cd that just has to be added to your holiday collection!!!

Normally I don't write reviews, but after listening to this CD-just to see how it would sound at Chrisrtmas time-I was totally overwhelmed! I have never been so moved and so awe-struck by the splendor of any music since the soundtrack of Once Upon A Time In The West.
If you can get thru some of the songs without shedding a tear at the beauty of their presentation along with the way they transport you into the splendor of Christmas, you're better than I.
I'm always afraid to suggest a purchase, because flavors are as endless as the tastes chasing them; But I bet my soul you will consider this the one CD that put the most beauty into your Christmas music listening.

One song is prettier then the next! The Ave Maria is spectacular and will bring a tear, her voice is just phenominal! Great holiday music

poor , this CD. has very little of her singing . All I can her is the loud back grown and her yelling. could not understand the words maybe one or two songs where fine. . i do like her other CDS.

Her voice is CRAZY!! Ave Maria is the best track, I've had it on repeat a lot. It's a good cd, it's kinda cheesy, but it's good. It has a overall 90's vibe to it. :D

Ave Maria is the reason I purchased this CD and it is beyond words beautiful!! Celine has come into her own over the years and this CD is certainly her best. Perfect for the upcoming season. High recommended!

Celine Dion has such an amazing voice that I could listen to her all day. All the songs on this CD are very good, but "O Holy Night" and "Ava Maria" are so very beautiful. I don't think I've heard anyone do them as well as Celine Dion.

For those of us who sigh and smile when listening to Celine sing, this CD is pure enjoyment. The woman is incredible. This CD is among my top Christmas favorites.

Had this CD before but somehow it went missing. Looked and looked but no luck. Deceided to go to Ebay and that's just what I did. Now I have my CD to hear Celine and Andre sing together-once again.

I was at a Christmas concert last year when I first heard the song "Don't Save it all for Christmas Day". Someone told me that Celine Dion was the first one who recorded it so I bought this CD to hear her version of it. It was very different than what I had heard. She has her own style and her unique was of phrasing on the old standards is pure Celine. This might not set well with folks who like their carols sung the old fashioned way.

This is a nice holiday CD. Not as good as some others. But if you're a real Celine fan, this one shows off her voice with style and grace.
