It is important for buyers to support good sellers since eBay does not. And this seller is super! Great product, price, shipping, & service.

I had the books at one time they were lost in a major move. I am so happy to be getting them so I can read them again. This is my first experience on ebay, i was hospilized for a few days and could not get to a computer to pay right away. The seller was more than kind and and understood my position unlike some other sellers. I will defently purchase from this seller again.

  Nostalgic Purchase
Review created: 03/06/07

I purchased These Happy Golden Years for my daughter because I fondly recall reading it as a child. I have picked up most of the Little House books used, and have never had a problem with reading a used book. When I was not able to located this title at a local flea market, I turned to e-bay. Even with shipping, it cost less than buying a new book and chopping down more trees for it. I hope to be able to pass the collection on to another girl when my daughter outgrows it. The Little House series is a story of an idealistic life in the late 1800s. Many girls learned what the know about the trials pioneers faced by reading these stories by Laura Ingalls Wilder.

a glimpse of a simpler time

The most interesting thing about this book is that the main character seemed happy to use her money to help her family. She was poor and seemed to always think of others. I guess this is a foreign concept to me, being thoughtful of others.
