"True" Finger Eleven Fans will know what i'm saying

After the sucess of "one thing" many finger eleven fans (myself included) were worried that this would change the band, making them want to become more mainstream. Unfortunatly this is the case with Them Vs You Vs Us.
I have never been so saddened by an album until now. Finger Eleven had a great raw, dark sound that was like no other. With this album they've become a "pop" band, which means that they turned their back on their true fans, and that they have turned their back on everything they once were.
Finger Eleven was never about catchy/dancing songs, but Them Vs You Vs Us changes this drastically. Gone are the days of Quicksand, suffocate, and absent elements. Now enters "Paralyzer" and "So-So Suicide" which are more like songs that would be played at dance clubs. Sure these songs will probably lead to more popularity with younger crowds (like 12 to 16 yr old girls) but what about your real fans? the fans that made you Finger Eleven? apparently we just aren't important to them...and that's what gets to me.
I write this as a former finger eleven fan. This album is the standard of "selling out" and its a real shame. This band was something special, something different, and now their like the rest. There is NO WAY any TRUE finger eleven fan can listen to this album and not be upset.
Sorry Rock Music, but you've lost another good one
