This renowned book by prominent African-American author Hurston takes the reader through one woman's lifelong journey to finding true love. Her mishaps and heartbreaks create a roller coaster for the reader to enjoy. The only dislike I have about this book is it is written with a deep southern dialect and sometimes hard to understand.

Fastastic book.. absolutely loved it. A professor friend of mine recommendated it saying it was one of 4 best american novels in his oppinion.. and I agree.

I like the story, but it is difficult to read because the speech is hard to understand. I have heard that many readers enjoy the book. I hope to finish it soon.I will be better qualified to give it a very positive review.

This was a requirement for class; if it's not a requirement for you I would recommend steering clear. The social commentary is simply not original and the pace is slow.

The book is good but the cover of the book was not the same as in the description. Other than that the service was great.

A very literary book. Not necessarily my cup of tea, but it does raise interesting topics. Like any solid piece of literature, more interesting topics reveal themselves after multiple readings.

The book came to me on time and everything was in the condition i expected it to be.

I bought this to read for a group book discussion, and we all loved it. Beautiful language, strong central character, and excellent story. I would recomment this to anyone.

This book had me crying from the beginning to the end. The opening of the story is heartfelt and gets you way down deep inside you. That the character experienced a love so raw and so short that it changed her mind, body and soul. This book proves that it's never too late to fall in love. Read it, it's beautiful!
