The Zodiac (DVD, 2006)

The film was pretty accurate, with what really happened in Vallejo, CA back then. I thought it could have been made a little more scary, but all in all it's a good movie about the Zodiac and wouldn't be a waist of your time to rent it and watch it.

This is a story of a serial killer in the bay area in the late 60's and 70's. Authorities from different counties (the homicides were in different counties) were having a hard time to compile all the evidence against one suspect. So a SF chronical newspaper cartoonist became obsessed in finding the killer. When DNA testing was available this century, the suspect was called but he died of a massive heart attack. I finished watching this movie last night. I'm not sure if I would recommend this movie to anyone, it was slow and with strong violence scenes. Since it was based on true story, the end is actually disappointing.
