This was a 1994 edition Weight Watchers book with great recipes but before the point system was being used...easy enough though to translate into points if you also purchase a Weight Watchers calculator.
Item in excellent condition, contacted me immediately that my payment was received and that the item was being shipped, almost as quickly as the payment was received.
Easy to find the recipe you are looking for. bound in a 3 ring binder type holder, easy to use and many pictures make using this book a breeze. The weight watcher program basics is also an easy way to help you loose weight as you explore many old favorites as well as new and exciting taste temptations.
This is not the new flex point or core plans that WW is now promoting. But, in review of the recipes, it does have some great sounding recipes. The recipes that make you forget you are dieting.Food that looks good and tastes great. That is the type of thing that keeps you on track and moving forward.
I bought it for myself, a shut-in, in hopes of structing a diet for the new year without the need of a group style program. Item seemed outdated and lacked the actual program's point counting system information necessary to setup my own diet.
This book is great for portion control and also has good recipes that rest of the family would like. I lost 5 pound in a couple of weeks using some of the recipes. I also bought a South Beach Cookbook that is just as good.
I received the cookbook promptly and have reviewed the cookbook and I have already used several recipes. The recipes are all made with products that are easily purchased at my local grocery store and are easy to prepare. My family enjoys the meals and can't tell they are made from low fat, low sugar type products.
I like the variety of recipes in this cookbook. I decided to buy it because I recently went on a diet following the weight watchers program and the recipes make it easy for me to stay in my point range. They are easy to follow.
