The Wedding Dress (DVD, 2004)

I saw this movie years ago on the Lifetime Channel and fell in love with the story as the wedding dress moved from one person's life to another and how it all came together in the end. To have Tyne Daly as one of the lead characters with the surprising role of Neil Patrick Harris just made it one of my instant favorites. If you like a good romance story, you'll love it and if you just want a movie to enjoy as you pass the time, I highly recommnd The Wedding Dress.

If you are buying this because you're a Neil Patrick Harris fan, just fair warning - there's not nearly enough of him in this movie. There is a good 30-40 minutes stretch in between the beginning of the movie and the end where he's not even in any scenes because there are other stories being told. It's a cute movie overall, but if all you want to see is NPH, he's not in it very much, so it might not be worth it. He does look cute with facial hair though.

This is a fantastic movie. It certainly can be watched many times. That is why I purchased the movie. Great great story and actors and actresses. If you like Lifetime movies this is on you should definitely buy.

I really enjoyed this movie. The story was original and so interesting. You never quite knew what would happen, but following the journey was half the fun. That dress gets around. Anyone looking for something different and charming, this movie is for you.

If you're a hopeless romantic, like me, then you'll just love this story. I don't want to say too much and give the plot away, but if you like happy endings this DVD is a must see.
