This is the BEST of Russell Watson! My favorite is the theme from THE MISSION (music by Enio Morricone), entitled "Nella Fantasia." This song is a favorite, as my first CD was the soundtrack from the movie. When I heard him singing the words, my heart melted. It's not just THE VOICE but the story of Russell Watson himself. He shows what a great cross-over from pop to classical he can do so well! The softness of his voice shown in "Caruso" and "Someone Like You," to the passion of "Vienna" and "Nessun dorma!," demonstrate the special gift he offers in music today. After hearing this CD, I bought the DVD of his live New Zealand appearance, and his vocal ability just blew me away. I have sent three of his CDs to family members as gifts. The Voice also gives a BIO on Russell, which makes me wonder how anyone ever thought he would stay in factory work. His voice is clear and fresh and a gift to the people! Thank you Russell! I never tire of hearing him sing.
