Very Best of The Eagles by Eagles (Rock) (The) (CD, Oct-2003, 2 Discs, Warner Strategic Marketing)

I purchased this CD recently and it is Awesome has the majority of songs that got radio play. The box that it comes in is quality sturdy and the booklet is very informative there are questions that Glenn, Don and the other band members answer about where the songs were made and where they came from.

Overall I can't recommend this one enough perfect for long road trips! I am in the middle of collecting lots of Greatest Hits CD's I also have the ELO Greatest Hits which is pretty nice as well as Foreigner.

I am very happy with my purchase. I had trouble locating this CD in any of my local stores, but was able to find it here at a fantastic price. The CD arrived within 5 days and was packaged professionally. It was described as brand new and it was exactly that with the factory shrinkwrap still on it. It plays perfectly. I would definitely recommend this seller. I've kept this seller in my favorites for my future music purchases. Thanks!!!

This CD has a true full compilation of the best of the Eagles ever. The little book that it comes with is fair since I hoping it would be more about the meanings of each song. Instead, most of the commentary is about a surrounding story. The stories are good, I wsa just expecting something else. If you are an Eagles fan and you don't own much of their music, this 2 CD set is a MUST!

I was one of the lucky ones that bought the CD and DVD collection which I bought off e-Bay. One of the best purchases EVER!! HOWEVER....

I played the first CD and the DVD and both played perfectly. But I didn't listen to the 2nd CD (stupid me!!) and left great feedback. There was major damage to the 2nd CD (not playable) that I didn't notice, because i didn't play it. Since I had already left feed back - there was nothing I could do. Again, STUPID ME!!! The second CD was what I wanted, or at least, what had the songs that were missing from my "Best of the Eagles" CD. Because I had left positive feedback for this "seller", I had no options.

I re-purchased just the 2-CD set from someone else today (the seller who I bought the original set from is no longer an e-bay member - BIG SURPRISE!!) I hope the 2nd CD is damage-free! At least I still have the DVD which is in excellent condition - and FANTASTIC!!

You take very hungry but talented guys. You put them all in a small space"THE Closet's of an Apartment Building" Then you let them grow into one of the greatest groups of all time. That is What happened in the late Sixty's. To say that anyone of the guys was a star all on his own was poor judgment on anyones part. Every one of these outstanding musicians could have made a "GROUP" all by themselves. Just take one of these guys throw in a few studio backup bit players and presto change-o A hit record with an album to follow shortly. Glen, Don, and Joe all did it to the MAX. Still as their reunion tour showed. These guys had a spark that turned into a raging FOREST FIRE every time they stepped on stage or into the recording session together. This particular Album is something every fan of Rock and Roll must have in their collection. It is the OLD story if you don't have this "YOU AIN"T SH_T" I still to this day can sing "Not very well mind you" all of the words to "Hotel California" "Desperado" "Seven Bridges Road" "Heartache Tonight" "Long Run""Witchy Woman" and "Tequila Sunrise"(WE INVENTED THAT LIBATION ( 1oz.Tequila and Orange Juice mixed with Crushed Ice You then pour Grenadine syrup down the Center in a thin stream till it covers the bottom of the glass Use a tall Chimney Glass and place in a very cold freezer for 20 mins They come out frosty and slushy Put a Candied maraschino Cherry On the end of a long straw and push it to the bottom center. @ THE "LUCKY LION" IN "Stateline, Nevada" Next Door to South Lake Tahoe, CA) in 1972 Just before a Night Club Called the Riverboat Burned down Next To Harveys Inn Casino and Motel also in Stateline, NV. They built a Ben's Discount Liquor to replace it. Even though I no longer Drink Alcohol or Smoke Cigarettes hearing any of the wonderful songs of the Seventies and Eighties by the one and only "EAGLES" reminds me of my offta times miss spent young adulthood. LIKE ALL DIFFERENT KINDS OF MUSIC. I LOVE THE EAGLES. THEY ARE A GOOD GROUP, NOT MUCH ROCK THAT I LIKE.I LOVE THEIR NAME, BECAUSE IM A BIRD LOVER AND I REALY LOE EAGLES.

This album has all the best Eagles song as the title says. It's great. Brings back lots of memories. I recommend it to anyone who is an Eagles fan.

Comprehensive album of songs by the Eagles. Hotel California was expecially of interest along with the other great hits. The entire album is loaded with great songs.

All the best of the best are on this 2 disc set. My teenager is now learning Life in the Fast Lane on his guitar. It's fun introducing my children to the cool songs of my high school era.

I like all the songs, I love that there are a lot of their hits on it, not too many fill in songs,and I don't dislike it at all.

absolutely the finest all american rock band ever. the cd features 33 of some of the best rock tunes ever composed. from the ol55 to hotel california to hole in the world. me and my mom sat up one night and watched their supposed farewell tour concert on tv.

the next day I bid on the cd. I got out bid once, but put up my max bid and got it. this is going to get played alot in the years to come.

I love the Eagles. I'am young and there are quit a few song's in the collection I don't really like,but overall I'am very pleased with it. They are truelly one of the greatest bands of all time.

Any true Eagles fan should put this CD set on a "Must Own" list. The longer these songs are around, the better they get..like aged wine.

I think that this cd rocks. It has all of the best of The Eagles and I am completely satisfied with it! Get yourself one!

Exactly what I wanted and expected. I had lost my Eagles CD and was pleased to purchase a new one. Excellent sound and quality.

The title says it all. This CD has all their old hits plus new compositions from Don Henley and the others. A little older but their sounds is still just as rich and mellow as ever. A must have for any Eagle fan or collector of good sophisticated rock music.

A wonderful collection of their greatest hits. I have always been inspired by their songs. I Would highly recommend this album!

Went to an Eagles concert last year in L.A. and fell in love with their music, again. This is certainly one of America's all time great bands. Their performance today is probably better than when they were young. What a great show! I also like the live performance DVD I bought of the Farewell Tour.

If you enjoy the Eagles, You will like this CD.

If you don't own any Eagles CDs, this is a great one to have. It has all the hits I was looking for and then some.

I absolutely love this two cd set! It has what I consider to be all of their best songs. I would definitely recommend this set to any Eagles fan.
