The Usual Suspects (DVD, 2009, Repackaged)

Very Funny and Clever. Love it! A must own. I have been hearing a lot about this movie lately (13 years after it came out). It lives up to it's reputation. I thoroughly enjoyed it and will keep watching because there is more to learn every time you watch.

When I watched this movie for the very first time, it had just come out on VHS. I watched it so intently. It was intriguing and captivating the entire way through. Then, when the ending hit, I was stunned. I was like... "WHOA!" I immediately watched it again to piece it together. It wasn't that I missed anything the first time around, it was that the ending was just such a surprise. It was one of the first movies that I had seen in a very long time that I wasn't able to figure out within the first 30 minutes.

This is a movie that not many people have seen. I always recommend it to my friends when I find out they haven't seen it.

And, yes, I own the movie and still love to watch it. This was the movie that made me a Kevin Spacey fan.

Mention this movie to any guy within a 20 year age range and you're likely to hear "Cooooool." Bryan Singer has crafted an intelligent crime caper that constantly has the audience guessing who's who right along with the characters. Set amongst a group of 5 thieves caught in a string of events they can't necessarily understand, they come to believe they are being manipulated by the legendary - yet possibly non existent - criminal Keyser Sose. A terrifically styled film that serves to add atmosphere to the story and not just fancy camera work, some people have criticized the complex ending as a cheat but it's an invalid claim. I won't give away the ending but the story holds up under repeated viewings and even increases the enjoyment. Well cast, the movie elevated Chazz Palminteri Benicio Del Toro and of course Kevin Spacey to fame and fortune and slots great pieces in all the supporting roles from Pete Postelthwaite to Peter Green. A fabulous movie that manages to be smart, unique and stylized at the same time without being overbearing.

This is a Great Movie. It will keep you thinking and on the end of your seat. This is a Movie you can watch many times and see things you did not see the 1st time or maybe even the 2nd time. I bought this Movie from EBay because it's a hard Movie to find for sale in the One Horse Town I live in! And the price I paid was the same as if I had rented it. But now I own it. The Seller was good to work with and the Movie came fast.

One of the top uspense films of all times, with a great cast, including Academy Award winner, Kevin Spacey. This is a movie that will yield new clues and information everytime one watches it. It is a must for any film collector and for anyone who enjoys dramatic/suspensful movies.

This movie goes in as one of the best movies ever made........with Scareface, Casino, goodfellows,heat,lucky number slevin, rounders.....

Great drama/mystery with a twist.. Plot engulfs you into a criminal activity and you feel somewhat sympathetic and curious then you're slapped with a twist that is so unsuspected. A must see...

After we had heard the buzz about how good this movies was, one night back in my college days, a bunch of friends and I got some beers and sat down to watch “The Usual Suspects”. Yeah, in the beginning I wasn’t too thrilled nor did I know what to expect, since it looked like another crime/mystery type of movie. However, the more I watched the more I was pulled into the story. I believe that the actors and the script were absolutely fantastic. They couldn’t have chosen a better cast for this movie. Of course, Bryan Singer’s direction was phenomenal in catching the viewer’s interest in the web of such a complex story. The final five minutes of the movie were the eye popping and absolutely jaw dropping. I remember that everyone in the room was absolutely silent as the credits came on the screen. Seconds later, we were watching it again since the first time wasn’t enough. Until now I can watch this movie again and get the same goose bumps I had when viewing it for the first time. Truly is a classic and one of my 10 all time favorite movies.

This is a must own movie, If you like Spence movies this one if for you. Kevin Spacey and the crew are Amazing!!! Ive seen this movie a million and one times and it never gets old. This is a classic, why would you not buy it? you won't be disappointed

Great Movie! We owned this movie on VHS, bought a new tv and needed to own it on DVD. Now we do and we can watch it with almost perfect picture. Love the characters. If you love Snatch you will love the Usual Suspects./

Smart, elegant, and ending got me. This is one of my top 3 favorite films (Godfather being No. 1). The Special Edition I purchased on eBay is a second copy. Sadly, the copy I received was not really "special" and did not include all features as described on DVD backcover. Excellent movie all the same.

The movie is really terrific! A favorite of mine. This DVD has lots of great extras. They are the best part of most of the DVD's out there. The performanses are wonderful. It is much more brilliant that almost anything else you find. A truly original and smart plot. Full of surprises. Great!
If you have never seen it, buy it or rent it.

What a great plan to not only fool your team, but to fool the authorities as well. I know this happens all the time. Some go well, some not so well. I recommend this film to anyone who wants to see a well thought out script on "Who done it?" genre. Enjoyed the acting, but I enjoy Kevin Spacey's acting prowess. He was also very good playing Bobby Darin. Cheers!!

I liked that I could get a new copy of the movie. I bought the DVD, The Usual Suspects, as a gift for my son who had been looking it.

love kevin spacey, suspenseful, and has a few good twists. its really pretty good for an older movie. has a very heavy cast of actors. just my type of movie, but i will watch anything with kevin spacey in it. good luck and enjoy.

I bought this version of the classic movie due to wanting to see if the director had more input for the articulative creation of this story and how it was placed onto film. More so if you have never seen this movie I recommend this highly and be watch it from begining to end because you may miss the important facts on how the end comes about

I can not believe there are people in the world who have not seen this movie, It is a modern classic and needs to be in every collection of dvds. If you dont have it get it, if you havent seen it go and get a copy you wont be disapointed

well thought out mystery, the writer is awesome. all the actors where well chosen and great with each part they played.

This is one of my favorite movies of all time. A film noir for modern times, however many twists and turns any other movie makes, this one tops them all, and makes it make sense. I really can't say anything bad about it, the casting was perfect...there was just enough action to keep you on the edge of your seat, but it was there for a reason, and you find out why...in the end.

This movie is a classic have your popcorn ready and use the restroom before before you press play. Because you don't want to miss one second of this movie.

ONE OF THE BEST IF NOT THE VERY BEST TWISTED ENDINGS YOU WILL EVER SEE. YOU HAVE TO FOLLOW THE MOVIE CAREFULLY TO GET THE BEST BENEFIT FROM IT

this movie is just a real twister, you really have to pay attention to figure out what the heck is going on but it is worth it! it is an excellant movie but i just wish the captions were a little bigger!!

If you love movies with a twist and surprise endings, this one is a must see.
