The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning
Let me start off by saying I'm a huge horror/slasher fan so this review is a little biased. If you can't handle blood, guts, and gore this movie isn't for you. It shocked me and I consider myself pretty thick skinned when it comes to movies like this.
If you thought Hostel was bad you ain't seen nothing yet. TCM: The Beginning answers every question you've ever had about this series, and if you're a huge fan of the TCM series you'll pick up on things that the casual fan will miss.
Every character was perfectly cast and this is the only TCM movie where I have really wanted everybody to escape. The entire cast was great, but R. Lee Ermey absolutely blew my mind, he was good in the 2003 remake but he was absolutely spectacular in this. Andrew Bryniarski is even better as Leatherface than he was in the 2003 remake, I think that has more to do with the production than anything else, but he was much more menacing.
Everything about this film screams best slasher movie of the decade, the quality, the effects, the sound, everything is perfect. Perfect for slasher fans that is... this is the goriest movie I have ever seen.

Rent or Buy?: You couldn't ask for anything more from this movie, it's a perfect prequel... if you're a huge fan of slashers this belongs on your shelf, if you can't handle gore you might want to stay away.

) This is one of my favorit movies if you like scary movies this is the one to watch.. Turn off the light and get your bag of popcorn and enjoy.... but don't take my word for it....

I own this poster in mint condition and before the movie was ever released. The artword was adapted from an actual photograph as I can tell, because I am the author of a famed horror series of books entitled THE CHAIN SAW MAN I, II, III, but more so, because I do all covers like these for my books.
The manner in which the overall theme represents, to me as a photo journalist, is highly representive of one who's journey or sojourn, has come to an end, or is just on the verge of beginning. The scene conjured up a powerful image of dreams never fullfilled, but rather on the verge of waning with the ending day as he walks down the side of the road; being sidetracked and removed from the meagerest margins of society. This prequal, like THE CHAIN SAW MAN I in the trilogy of books I have written, which were solely based on reality, which makes them more enthralling to my readers, truely rectifies a meaningful progression that manifests reprocussions of becomming "LEATHERFACE."
I personally know R.A. MIHAILOFF, or REEDY, as this is his true first name, and even he agrees with my methods of conceptions pertaining exclusively to this "final" movie which brings us back to our favorite movie: "THE TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE."

I like the whole Texas Chainsaw Massacre NEWER Versions of the movies even though I'm not a big horror film fan. I decided to buy it cause it was A: A movie I was interested in seeing and B: I couldn't pass up on the .99 cent price.

This is the best Texas Chainsaw Massacre yet. If you are a fan of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre Movie's then you will want to get this one. It will explain alot of the pervious Texas Chainsaw movies like each character who they are, and how they got the way they are now, and why they turned out like they did, and most important the birth of Leatherface. This is the bloodiest, and goriest of them all it will keep you tense through the whole movie. This one looks so real, and nothing fake about it, like it is the real thing, and the movie has some great sound affects. This is one scary movie for all you Horror fan this is one you need to add to your collection you won't regret getting it don't even bother renting it just buy it, it will be money well spent on your collection I know it was on mine. I give this movie a 5 out of 5 rating.

When purchasing this dvd, my expectations were at a minimal. I figured at the least, as a sequel, this would give a few laughs and maybe a couple jumps out of my seat. What a horribly pleasant suprise this movie gave when we got totally glued to the idiot box that we didn't even want to blink let alone take a pee break. Talk about insane, bloody and intense scenes pretty much from start to finish, this movie is not for the faint of heart. For all you horror movie fans out there, this is definately one movie not to be missed. This one should be turned into what you might call a "HORROR CLASSIC"
