The Taking of Pelham 1 2 3 (DVD, 2009)

I really thought that this was an excellent movie. In my opinion, John Travolta gives his best performance yet. Denzel Washington does a wonderful job also (as always). It is a very good movie and I would definatly recommend watching it, but you might not want to watch it with any little kids around, because there is alot of language. It is definatly worth buying a copy.

Walter Garber (Denzel Washington) is a New York City subway dispatcher whose ordinary day is thrown into chaos by an audacious crime: the hijacking of a subway train. Ryder (John Travolta), the criminal mastermind behind the hijacking and leader of a highly-armed gang of four, threatens to execute the train's passengers unless a large ransom is paid within one hour. As the tension mounts beneath his feet, Garber employs his vast knowledge of the subway system in a battle to outwit Ryder and save the hostages. But there's one riddle Garber can't solve: even if the thieves get the money, how can they possibly escape.

I love Denzel Washington. I think he is th best actor, along with Travolta and I am trying to collect all Denzel movies. This was a very good movie and I would reccomend it.

Great dvd with suspense, as far as my purchase through Ebay it was great and the dvd was in excellent condition. I really wanted to see the two mega stars J. Travolta & D. Washington on the big screen together, they really kept you in suspense on both sides...You really understood what they both stood for and why they took the actions they did in the suspense action movie.

My husband wanted this movie....he has not watched it.....but, I'm sure he will enjoy!

i highly recommend this dvd its full of action from the beginning to the end.i didnt get to see it in the movie so i purchased the dvd and its weel worth the money.

After viewing the movie trailer, I purchased the DVD. The actual movie began alright with interest during the planning and take over phase, but quickly lost my attention and I thought the movie dragged on into a long boring phase to the end.

This transaction has put me in a legal gray area. This product is an excellent copy however this is where the black and white hits. It was a copy not one govern by the producers of the movie. I thought I was purchasing movies copies from someone who actual paid for all the copies and was getting rid of its extra. This was a copy of a purchase product(one time purchase not multiple purchases). I can not endorse an illegal action.

Any thing with Denzel Washington and John Travolta is worth watching. A little lengthy at times, but enjoyable. Denzel is put in a awfull position but all prevales in the end.
