The atopsy of the sleep science

When the innocence of a child crashes and meshes with unique art and adult concepts, you get Michel Gondry. His genius of capturing what we as humans really feel but are too embarrassed and afraid to reveal is more than perfect. Some call his films bizarre, but when you get right down to it, we are, especially our minds in the world of dreams. Cardboard fabrications and swirling paint is an understatement of what we really see, but it couldn't have been depicted more accurately. This movie reminds us what we are, and what we go through, and what we want. Love and happiness. But instead of sugarcoating that concept and making everything perfect, it shows us not all is easy, and not all works out, even in a land of cut out buildings and paper trees.
I love this movie. I love what it tells. We all need to be reminded to not let go of our imaginations and to also remember to tell ourselves not to let our minds take control of us (as was Stephans case in many situations).
This is one of the greatest movies I've seen. I would dare call it a masterpiece.
