The Ring (2003, DVD)

Ugh, I hated this movie it was slow and kinda stupid. I kept thinking well maybe the ending would be really good so I sat through it. Then the ending just plain sucked. If I had to compare it to another movie I would say it was kinda like the Blair Witch Project, another movie I didn't care for.

Again and again..this review is for both "The Ring" movies..Samsara like Kayako gave me chills and nightmares..I really felt for the little Spirit in these movies..but nothing explains why she's the way she is..hopefully there will be a "The Ring 3" and we will get our answers in the meantime check out these great edge of your seat movies...

Rachel Keller is a journalist who decides to go undercover on the mysterious death of her niece and her three friends, who seemed to all died on the same day at the same time- 10:00 PM. After being told that her niece was found in a closet with a horrifying look on her face, she searches through her room and finds some pictures, pictures of the cabin where her niece and her friends had stayed a week before the deaths. Rachel finds the cabin and finds an unknown video there. She decides to watch it there, and now has only a limited time to live. She and her divorced husband, Noah, research about the video and find facts about Anna Morgan and her daughter, Samara Morgan, the maker of this video. With only a week left, Rachel and Noah discover the unknown secrets of the life of Samara Morgan, and, hopefully for them, a way to break the curse..

One great movie. Strange but Great..Dont want to say to much incase someone has not seen it yet...a must to see and own....

This movie almost made me want to get rid of all the T.V.s in the house (almost). Great special effects, made my skin crawl. Evil comes from unexpected & unexplained places. I don't watch this movie when I am alone at night! Sandi

Shipping time was twice as long as usual... about three weeks. Seller not so sensetive to correspondence. It took three queries to get the seller to confirm shipping address with me, and their first two replies were the exact same email.

Oh my God;what a movie;I had no idea what I was anbout too watch it scared the crap out of me keeping me on the edge of my seat. It is a movie worth watching if you like to be frighted out of you skin. Very good movie.

Kept me guessing almost the whole time. If you havent seen it i recommend you do! Bought it because i am expanding my collection with good movies! When i saw this movie in theaters it was great. A lady screamed when the bug went across the screen! lol

I did not like this movie a lot because it scared the freak out of me. When i watched this with my girl at night time with no lights on and we closed all teh curtains and doors. Of course we knew it was a horror, scary movie. We didn't know it would scare the living hell out of us. After watching this, we could barely walk away from the room. We were wrong, watching at night time is really freaky! WATCH AT YOUR OWN RISK and watch it in the afternoon then nighttime.... or you will get nightmares for sure!

Even though it takes a lot to scare me, I though that this movie had a few interesting scenes in it. Really nice.

Excellent movie, very scary. If you like Naomi Watts and you like scary movies, you'll love this. You may think twice before watching another video on VHS after seeing this.

There is a videotape, you put it into the vcr, you watch it, it's full of disturbing images when it's done the phone rings and a young girl says 7 days. In exactly 7 days, you die. Can Rachel, a journalist, figure out what the images are showing her, and how to stop not only her own demise, but that of her son and ex husband? You'll just have to watch it to find out. Before you die, you'll see the Ring.

I got this movie for my daughter for Christmas. We had been to various during the past few months and hadn't been able to find it. She likes scary movies and we had been to the cinema to see this one. One memory we had was that there were a group of teens ahead of us and at one point, the girl on the furthest inside of the row had to trip over every one else just to get out. She was really scared.

This movie is one of the scariest movies I've ever seen! And unlike other scary movies this one actually makes sense and collected the clues to come up with an ending. I love this movie!

This movie really wasn't my cup of tea. I'm one that is usually terrified by watching a good scary movie. This movie was in my opinion too fictional.
It had some moments that really grabbed and kept me on the edge of my seat. I think there was just too many slow spots.

An excellent movie that will keep you on edge. This movie is both psychological as well as classic horror. The acting is excellent and ending is disturbing

One of the best scary movies I have seen in a long time, a real mystery a good plot, excellent characters. Not just montster, killers and blook and goor.

After watching this movie, my sister became a different person. She is afraid of scary movies when she used to love them. This movie is horrifying! Scary sounds and faces is too much for children to handle! I have heard of many children who have had nightmares for a long time because of this movie! Parents: BEWARE!

I decided to buy it because I had this movie already but my ex husband took it and I wanted it again cause its a good movie, and I love scary movies

As for scary, I do believe that this movie held most of my emotions within the movie itself. I not only had to turn on every light in the house when I came home, I also didn't appreciate the ring of the telephone. I have always liked watching scary, but I don't think any other will match. I see this movie in the stores, and refuse to buy one. It messed with my psyciiiii...I remember having nightmares for several days afterwards. Thank you for a bit of a scare.
