From the begining to the end this book is great. You meet Rudy Baylor as he wraps up Law school and continue with him through his journy. I don't want to spoil the book but if you liked "Run Away Jury" then this book is for you. What else can I say with John Grisham you can never go wrong.

I bought the book because the price was affordable and it was sent to my door, which i find very practical as i live far from any major towns. I also bought the book because I really enjoy the writer's stories and this one was no different. It was a very good story, well written. It's recommended reading.

I thoroughly, thoroughly enjoyed this book. John Grisham is one of my favorite authors. I have read many of this books,and this was one that I had not. He keeps your attention, your mind is active.

I have read all of Grisham's books and this one is the best. I thoroughly enjoyed The Painted House, but Rainmaker is the epitome of the good guy who gets revenge for years of being walked on. I highly recommend it to anyone who needs a good "pick me up," or those who are interested in legal based novels.

The Rainmaker is definately one of my favorite Grisham novels from the mid-nineties. If Grisham used words in the courtroom like he does in this novel, He could have given Bailey a real run for his money a few years ago... Read this one. Three thumbs up. ---------C. Robertson , Manteca, CA 10/2005

The Rainmaker by John GrishamAfter reading a coupple other of John Grisham's books, I realized how much I like his writing and have never read this book. So I bought it, and read it, and it was awesome. The only bad thing is how addicting it is, I lost alot of sleep being up reading because it is so addicting!

John Grisham is one of my favorite Authors, I have now read almost all of his books. I will not devulge any details about the book, Because if you are like me you will not want to know the plots untill you reach them in the book.
But I do highly recomend this book.

The RainmakerI enjoyed Grisham's featured character going to law school in Memphis, graduating, and then passing the bar several months later. Most enjoyable placing yourself in his real life senario's. The character did everything expected of him starting out, ending up having a plantiff suing a big insurance company for wrongful claim handlings. The book was very enjoyable!
