The Promise by Il Divo (CD, Nov-2008, Syco Music)

I heard a song from the CD on Good Morning America and ordered the CD based on that. Only 2 of the selections are in English, but the all of the selections were so soothing and uplifting that I hardly noticed. And the final selection--"Amazing Grace"--just raised the hairs on the back of my neck. I have given this to several of my friends as early holiday gifts. It was wonderful!!!

the voices on these men are absolutly outstanding...its a blessing to have such a beautiful and talented voice. i just love listening to them sing

The music is absolutely beautiful and the men's voices are great. They have great harmony and good range.

I've been a fan of this group for a long time..........they never cease to amaze me with their talent. Their rendition of Amazing Grace is by far the best I've ever heard.

It was in great shape with the wrapping in place.I received it in a timely manner. It was a gift so I don't know if it played okay. These guys are great to listen to.

THIS IS AN AWESOME CD. THE QUALITY OF THESE VOICES IS EXCEPTIONAL, AWESOME AND BEAUTIFUL. WISH MORE OF THE SONGS WERE IN ENGLISH SO I COULD SING-A-LONG. AMAZING GRACE IS THE ONLY ENGLISH SONG ON CD. HIGHLY RECOMMEND FOR THOSE WHO LOVE THE ITALIAN TENORS OR OTHER GROUPS.

I am a rock and roll kind of girl, but the singing of these guys brought chills to my spine. Their rendition of Amazing Grace is spectacular! Worth every nickel.

I just learned of Il Divo and bought The Promise CD. These young men put chills down the spine.! They are AWESOME. Not to mention all 4 are delicious to look at!

This CD is unbelievable,that this much talent could be on one CD.You must hear to appreciate.We heard the song Amazing Grace and that alone is enough to buy it.

The clarity of each voice individually and then combined is an amazing musical ability. This is some of the best music I have ever heard.

Their voices are magical - and I don't understand a word on the CD except for 'Amazing Grace'. That cut alone is worth the price of the CD!!

I knew of this group of four gentlemen from having seen and heard them on tv. They have a wonderful sound that I find relaxing and calming. The real nice thing about this seller is that the items are brand new! I am enjoying this CD immensely. This was one of two brand new items that I bought from this seller and am very happy with the prices for new merchandise.

This is the best group I've ever heard. Their voices blend so well. I fell in love with them the first time I heard Amazing Grace. Could not get enough of it. I've not heard singing like this in a long time. Could listen to CD for hours. Will be buying more of their music.

I don`t know much Spanish but I love the voices of these men so much thay I am anxious to learn.The Amazing Grace song at the end is spectacular.I have seen this performed by Il Divo and was overwhelmed by the whole performance.I had never heard of this group before,as I mostly listen to country music,but when I saw this video(at the Coliseum I guess,)oh how wonderful.Thank you so much.

It was just what I wanted and at a good price. Love getting new in the box articals. I really like the new feedback system, whereas you can be very honest and not be in fear of a scathing retort, that's not true, out of retaliation.

If you haven't heard this latest CD from Il Divo (the best male vocal group on the planet) you're missing a real treat. Every track is a joy. Great choice of songs, wonderful arrangements and of course those angelic voices! Get the DVD too, which has some of the same songs recorded live at the Coliseum in Pula, Croatia. If you want something to help you forget the trials of daily life, I know of nothing better. WARNING: It is addictive!

Il Divo is a group of 4 musically trained men from different parts of the world, who come together and create the most beautiful music! This is their latest CD, and it is awesome! The harmonies of these 4 men is hauntingly gorgeous.

Quite the CD, these guys are absolutely outstanding. Most is sung in Italian, so I don't understand the words, but their harmony and power come thru greatly.

I saw this advertised on television and decided to see if it might be available for bid on EBAY. I had no idea that it would be and that I could win it in an auction, but I did and I have listened to it over and over and over. It is very inspiring and uplifting and effects me quite spiritually as well. My favorite is the Amazing Grace segment and is actually spine-tingling to me. I just love the CD and am so glad that I happend to overhear it on television and that I decided to pursue it on EBAY. It is a very good buy/investment and a great musical undertaking.

I happened upon this group on u-tube, the rest is history. I became an instant fan and have purchased two of their CDs. If you like classical music or opera, you'll love them.
