The Plague (2006)
The pieces were there, but when you start gluing them down before you finish the puzzle... you end up with "The Plague"
I was actually looking forward to this movie, I saw a preview for it and thought that it looked decent.
I'm a big horror fan (as you probably know if you've read any of my other reviews) so anything with a remotely creepy feel to it is an automatic must see in my books. I especially love Zombie movies so after seeing the preview I was like %##@ yeah.
I've been known to be wrong before, not very often, but sometimes, and I think it's afe to say that I couldn't have been more wrong about this movie.
I didn't expect a masterpiece, I didn't even expect a B-level more, more along the lines of a C+/C level movie. The movie gets and N/I for needs improvement.
The story was alright, but the acting and the effects were just so bad that I felt like I was about to fall into a coma for 10 years. This movie is extremely ridiculous in every aspect of the word.
I feel a rant coming on so I'll just head right into my final verdict.
Final Verdict:
1/5
Rent or Buy?: N/A... It's movies like these where I wish the studio would reject the script, take the money they were planning on investing into the project and donating to a worthy cause.
P.S. Sorry Van Der Beek, but I still loved you in Dawsons Creek

This Movie Was Given to me as a gift because everyone who knows me knows I collect movies, and mostly horror. Well, this turned out to be an alright gift. It was kind of different. It's about this town where almost all the kids in it catch a virus/plague, and are in a coma for 10 years then they all wake up at once, and are like Zombies, and are killing everyone and there are only a few people trying to survive, and get away. I just never understood how the virus/plague ever started I guess it got past me. I will just have to watch it again. There is a lot more to the movie, and it is a very interesting movie. I would have to give it a 4 star rating out of 5.

I enjoyed this movie even though it is very far fetched. There is a virus, a plague if you will that affects only the children in your typical small town in the middle of nowhere. The children all fall into a coma when infected and wake up 10 year later as zombies. What makes this movie so different is that there are aliens and space ships. Sit back and enjoy and take this movie for what it is, ridiculous entertainment

Don't have to leave home always has the movie just put the name of it in. Keep the movie for the price as renting it with no return day or late fees. WEatch it over and over. In GREAt condition!!!

To tell ya the truth I was just interested in seeing the movie again because I couldn't remember too much about it so I found it on EBAY for around a dollar I think, so it was a no-brainer ha. Yeah, it's an ok movie, check it out. Sorry to be of no help on a story synopsis though, but you can find an excellent one and better than I could write easily on-line. I'm just writing this to tell you that it's not a great movie and it's not a terrible movie, it's just ok.

The movie starts with showing children who were being afflicted by an unknown plague all over the world, which put them all in a coma. Even babies who were born after that were born in comas. After 10 years the children wake up, but they are far from normal. They begin killing all the non-afflicted people.
That's pretty much it. The movie doesn't explain what's going on very well, there were parts when you had to guess what was happening.
I don't recommend this movie. If you do want to see it however, I would recommend that you rent it instead of buying it.
