The Outsiders (DVD, 2008)

good seller, did sent e-mails saying they were late on shipping because of there stock, no biggy because I wasn't in a hurry for the DVD.

I bought this primarily because one of the stars was Patrick Swayze. He didn't play a very big role in this movie, but overall it was excellent. It was a hoot to see all these now big stars when they were so young. Good to watch the group of friends taking care of each other and sticking together, too, when things got tough.

This is one of those lost movies from many years ago. I wanted to have all Patrick Swayze's movies after he died. I was fortunate enough to be able to purchase it a a reasonable price.

WHATS NOT TO LIKE ABOUT THIS MOVIE.IT HAS ALL THE GREAT STARS IN IT AND THEY WERE GOOD ACTORS.THE STORY CENTERED IN TULSA I THOUGHT WAS GREAT (SINCE I THATS WHERE I LIVE).THE RICH AGAINST THE POOR A MOVIE THAT CAN BE RELATED TOO BY EVERYONE.YOU GUYS DID GREAT WHEN YOU MADE THIS MOVIE.........

Insightful story of class rivalry written by a 16 year old girl!!! On the class reading list of my 7th grader(yes, he read it first!) who loved the book. I surprised him with the DVD, and we both were captivated by the movie. It didn't hurt that the cast was cram-packed with really young now famous stars including Tom Cruse, Patrick Swayze, Emilio Estevez, Matt Dillon, Leif Garrett, Rob Lowe, etc. Great buy!!!

my mother had wanted the DVD the outsiders and the seller was extemely prompt with the sending it out to her!!! great seller, i would recommend this one to everybody who wants to know how to buy something on Ebay with no hassles!!!

i never received the product!!!!!!! they say you can file a claim and get your money back, but, tjat happened before and i never received my money, so therfore i don;t beleive this to be true!!!!!!!!!!

I love the book and the movie ever since I read it and watch the movie in the seventh grade.
i wanted to buy it because i could not find it anywere else.

I bought The Outsiders (dvd) based on S.E. Hintons classic novel, and recieved it yesterday, and love it!!
It has a great cast, that is still popular with us like; C.Thomas Howell, Matt Dillon, Ralph Macchio, Patrick Swayze, Rob Lowe, Diane Lane, Emilio Estevez, Tom Cruise, and Leif Garrett.

Based in 1966 Tulsa, teenagers came in two ways. "Soc," you've got money, cars, and a great future. But if you're a "greaser," you're an outsider, with not so much money either a family that doesn't care whether you're dead or alive, and some just your siblings looking as=fter you as their own, and a dream that you'll some day belong.

A great film with lots of action and a movie/book that will never be forgotten!

I highly recommend this movie! It portrays what a lot of us went through growing up and wanting to be accepted.

I have loved this movie since I saw it years ago. I love older movies like this one. I like the whole story of the older brother taking care of his younger sibblings and the whole territorial fighting between the "Greasers" and the "socies". I don't know if that is spelled correctly but if you haven't seen this movie' it's a must see. I compare it to "Stand By Me".
