The Official Beckett Price Guide to Football Cards 2008 by James Beckett (2007)

The monthly magazine is better for current pricing, etc, but if you want older prices for base cards and escpecially insert cards, this is what you want. It has photos of each insert card, which makes it easy to find prices on when you have a card that you don't know what the heck it is!

There are no headers above the price columns. There are no prices for insert cards. Sets issued by smaller companies are totally ignored.

It gives you two different prices,covers most big name brands.Easier to find brands because its in alphabetical order.

get one before you buy any cards!!must have for any card collector.it my dislike is only that it doesn't have some specialty cards and no 2007 cards at all.otherwise a must have and needed item.........................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................

I bought this product because I collect football cards. I like that it has alot of listings for cards. The only thing I didnt like about the guide is that it doesnt have listing for any 2007 cards and only some 2006 cards. Also it has no pricing for inserts. It just has the price listing for complete sets no inserts.

The Official Beckett Price Guide to Football Cards....2008 edition is a great book if you are a collector of football trading cards. I wish I would have purchased the book earlier than what I did. Some of the items I have bid on, before I recievedthe book, I actually bid higher than what its value was. I was a little dissapointed though however, due to the fact that not every card company was in the book, therefore I have some cards I cannot price. Overall the book is a definite must have for football card collectors.

Like the accuracy of pricing, but doesn't tell you prices of special cards. Needs to be bigger for easier reading, its a Lil book. If your looking to check your common base cards,its great. If you want to know what your Tom Brady jersey cards worth, its not going to help you.

This is by far the easiest guide to use and is the most accurate on the market. Having this guide is a must for any truly serious football card collector.
