The Notebook (DVD, 2005)

This movie has some wonderful actors and a great story line. There are some slow parts but most of the movie flows nicely. The movie is a lot better than the book (I fell asleep reading the book but the movie keeps your attention). There are so many parts that shows the love these two people had for each other and the ending just made me cry so hard! If you love romance stories, this is a must see!

What a great romance! Get your kleneex box ready this is a two box movie. But the story of unending love throughout these two characters live's is a heart stopper!

This was the best movie I think I have ever seen as far as love stories go. I love Noah there should be more guys out there like that one. If you love the movie the book was great as well. It is written of course by Nicholas Sparks. Who also wrote the book Message in a bottle. When you have him as a writter no story of his could go wrong. I think everyone would love this movie it's for young and old. I highly suggest it!!!

This movie was all about human emotions. It was very touching and had a lot of happy moments, but also some deep sad moments. This movie could be the story of a lot of its viewers. The acting was great and not overdone.
I enjoyed it and would certainly recommend it.

This movie is very well done, but the story must be credited to Nicholas Sparks, the author of the novel the movie is based on. If you love dramas, you will love this movie. It will touch your heart and soul. Keep the tissue nearby, as you are sure to cry. I know I did!

Being a huge skeptic about any kind of movie, I waited until now to see this one that every friend of mine, male and female, was raving about for who knows how long. I can't believe I waited for such a long time! The most amazing movie I have seen in ages. The story is deep and passionate. It swallows you whole. It captures the beauty of life back in the old days and how amazing simple things truly are. You'll never forget this movie.

what a great love story. there is so much emotion bring your hankies before you start to watch. this is a story of a present day man who reads a story to an elderly woman in a nursing home about a 1940 couple in love but forced to separate but then are brought back together after a few years and a war.

This movie is one of the greatest love stories. it make you want to read the book which by the way is awesome also. I have seen this movie a thousand times yet I never get tired of it. for all the men out there its not just a girlie movie its on to see

This classic film (in my eyes) is timeless and fun no matter how many times you've seen it...The cast and story are exciting and fresh even if you've seen the film over 100 times, as I have...The is a Must Have DVD for anyone’s collection!!!

This is my all time favorite movie, so I just had to own it. I love the creative way they portray the characters. I love the unconditional, soul-mate love. I love the "until death do we part" marraige. I am a bit disappointed about the sexual activity outside of marraige, but the rest of the messages in the movie are so great, that it's easier to swallow. Best love story I have every heard.

I bought it because I wore out my last copy of it. My grandparents have been married 64 years and this movie always reminds me of them. I cry buckets - it is definitely a tear jerker - but it is also funny, sweet, romantic, and feel good. I think it is a GREAT movie and would recommend it to ANYONE.

If you are wanting to impress a new love interest, or just rekindle an old one.... The Notebook is one of the best love storys ever. Just make sure you have a box of tissue ready, because if you dont cry at this one... you may be in need of a heart.

I loved the movie!!!! My Mom is going through Altzheimer's and friends referred me to see it. Not only was I able to relate to it and learn from it, I enjoyed one of the best love stories ever. The best purchase I ever made on Ebay.

An avid reader of Sparks, I found this movie a joy to watch. It followed the book fairly well with a slight twist to the ending. Garner is always wonderful to watch, but this showed a tender side that usually goes unshown. Have your tissues ready and share this movie with someone you love.

I can easily relate to "Noah" and "Allie" as I knew a family personally who had to live with a loved one having Alzheimers. This gentleman had loved his wife from a young boy and he stood by her side, everyday, and watched her become more confused and withdrawn and just loved her. This movie makes me cry everytime I watch it, even though I know how it will end. This is a movie for this generation. I am not sure how many men or women will choose to devote their life and love to the spouse for the remaining years of their life. This is truly........a love story.
