The Non-Designer's Design Book by Robin Williams (2003, Paperback, Subsequent Edition)

I love this book. I'm getting my master's degree in integrating technology in the classroom, and of all the books I've had to read, this is my favorite (along with Robin Williams's other Design book). The four principles of design have helped me in tons of areas....websites, brochures, flyer, business cards, outlining, taking notes to name a few. It's a MUST read.

it was the book that i needed for the class i am taking at the moment so i dont love or hate it, it is a text book does anyone really like textbooks and i have not had a chance to read the book.

Never fret when it comes to preparing a layout for print with this book. It clearly outlines valuable information with regard to graphics, typopraghy, placement and so forth. It even provides clear illustrations of DOs and DONT's and why. What more can you ask for? In my opinion the book is pretty useful for beginners as well as seasoned graphic designers. With this book, you can't go wrong.
