The Mystery of History by Linda Hobar (2003, Paperback)

This book is excellent. You and your children will be amazed at how many interesting things you learn and RETAIN! We use this book about 4 times a week during our "group school" time. We all sit at the table and I read the lesson (my children are 15, 12, 10, 8, and 6). We stop to discuss and sometimes do the activities (most often we do not do them). We always do the timeline figures and this has been one of the features of this curriculum that has helped my children (and me!) remember the people and events we have studied. It is very well planned. It takes me zero to one minute of prep time! We always mark the maps as well and they are hanging all over our walls. Everything is provided. The added addition of the audio CD this year is excellent as well - I am looking for it on ebay right now. We are a couple of lessons away from finishing volume one and I have volume 2 waiting on the shelf.
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this product. I have recommended it to countless friends who are now using it as well and they all email me and rave over it. All I can say is "I told you so!"

Mt kids and I love this curriculum. It fun, it gives activities for almost everyday to give a handson experience. A definite must-have for homeschoolers.
