The Muppets: Wizard Of Oz (DVD, 2005)

Its a good movie for those who grew up with the Muppets and The Wizard of Oz. Funny as the muppets always are and singer Ashanti didnt do a bad job. Overall, its a good, clean movie to watch with the kids.

Being an AVID Wizard of Oz fan along with my 3 year old, we got this movie to watch together. I personally would not recommend this for kids under age 10 because they talk about Gonzo's nipples and Ashanti as Dorothy was wearing a skanky outfit which makes it even more kid-unfriendly. The acting was good for a muppets movie and had Queen Latifah as Auntie Em. So as a collector of Wizard of Oz stuff, its a good addition, BUT as a parent who used to TRUST the muppet shows for wholesome entertainment...I am very disappointed.

This is as close as i could get to real movie. My grandaughter loves it. Was like new. Was an easter present. Good service

I hoped The Muppets Wizard of Oz would be a toned-down version of the original story, suitable for younger children. It's not nearly as good as the original story and not really suitable for pre-school children, in my humble opinion.

I really liked it.
It was filled with great music like all the other muppet movies.
Had very nice twists to give it a muppets feel, like pepe being toto.
I would definitly recomend it.

It was a gift for someone for Xmas, it arrived after Christmas. It seemed like ti took for ever. The movie is something my daughter collects

I bought the movie for my daughter for x-mas, I received it just in time for x-mas and the seller was excellent to work with.

There are 2 things I hate about this DVD.
a. It's the Muppets.
b. It's the Wizard of oz.

The only reason I bought this is because my mother-N-law has the brain of a child and loves the stupid Muppets as well as the very retarded Wizard of oz.

Very cute movie. The kids loved it. A lot of cute scenes and a lot of music to keep them entertained.

This was a great children's movie. Ashanti's a really great singer too. This is a must have for parents with young children!

This movie is better for children than the original Wizard of Oz. It is not as scarey for little ones like the orgiginal and much more entertaining for them. It portrays in a better example the true meaning of finding yourself to the kids. For example: we all are heroes in hour own way, we are all smart, we all are successful etc. My daughter is four and has remembered this movie since she was three, which is why I finally bought it. It's very cute.
