) This particular CD is one of my favorite Bobby Bare recordings.. He has a style all his own and it really comes through on "Are You Sincere". and "I Am An Island". rabbitisrich

Bigger than Detroit City
) Bobby Bare grew up in my hometown in Southeastern Ohio, so I have followed his career for many years. I sang the wonderful Detroit City to my children and grandchildren as long as they would tolerate it, and was surprised to find in this new release that Bobby Bare's talent is bigger than this old favorite of mine.
While he doesn't have the greatest voice among the country singers, his choice of music and phrasing makes this worth listening to. I like it.
