The Monster Squad (DVD, 2007, 2-Disc 20th Anniversary Edition)

I really like movies like this. Movies that are about Halloween, but are still family oriented and not scary. I would recommend watching this movie now and then watching it again at Halloween time.

I have seen alot of movies in my time, but this remains my absolutely all-time favorite movie. It's funny, it's clever, and it needs to be seen by everyone. Basically, it's a movie about kids who have a monster club only to discover that *gasp* there are REAL monsters in their town. They have to pull out all the stops and save the world before Dracula takes it over! Honestly, there is no way anyone can do this movie justice so just go see it. I swear to you, you will not be disappointed.

I was surfing Ebay, and found this old movie that I remember loving when I was growing up. Even though it contained the original monsters <Frankenstien, dracula,wolfman, and swamp man, this was one of the movies that you never forgot. I am thrilled that I found it on dvd!!!

the movie is a great show my kids love it for its age the movie still looks great its all round great flick

This movie brings me back to my childhood. I remember my parents taking me to the local movie theater to see (you guessed it) MONSTER SQUAD. Once the movie started i knew my life had changed for ever. I so wanted to be in that same scenario, that for the rest of my childhood i tried to creat this magical and very innertaining movie. Good times!

This movie is great. I loved it when I was 7 and I love it now, and so does my daughter. Funny 80's humor, cute story, sorta scary monsters, and good times!

Decided to buy this movie because I was on an 80's kick... Was one of the first movies that I can recall that was scary but not poop yourself scary... LOL... This movie is for kids who just want to be a kid... Awesome...

movie in absolute excellent condition, we decided to buy it because it was a movie both my husband and I remembered from our childhood and we decided to buy it to watch it again and feel like children again :)

I remembered watching the monster squad on TV when i was a child. I watched it with my cousins at the time. Then i went out to wal-mart. As i was browsing up and down the isles. I came upon the monster squad. And it took me back to my childhood and the the memory of me watching it with my cousins. I didn't have the money at the time to buy it from wal-mart. During the week i got paid. I went back out to wal - mart to see if they still had the movie i wanted. I browse up and down the isles. The movie of the monster squad was gone. And i was not sure if they where going to get any more in. That is when i decided to try eBay. I thought if the stores had it out - maybe eBay might have too. So - that is when i began my search for the movie that brought back a childhood memory.

Movie was funny laught all the way threw it alot of good auctors where in it seen it before so wanted to buy it

I used to watch this movie when I was a kid and I loved it. My husband and I have tried to locate and purchase it many times over the years but with no luck. I jumped at the chance to get it when I say it. The disc is in perfect condition and arrived quickly. I am extremely pleased with the purchase.

I highly recommend this movie for the entire family. My son started watching it at 5 years old, and it's just scary enough to put them on the edge of their seat without the gruesome scenes that most horror movies have.

I love this movie it's a fantastic family movie!There is nothing that i dislike about it.
I bought it because when my daughter was young we saw it and loved it and wanted to add it to my collection.

i loved this movie as a kid and my 5 year old son loves it too. it has a little cursing but just a few words. if you have children that are not scared easily and that like monsters, especially little boys, this is a good movie for them to watch. it does not contain alot of blood and violent murder scenes so it is a perfect film for kiids.

I bought this movie because my boyfriend said it was one of his favorie movies as a kid we bought it for our 3 and 6 year old they absolutely loved it! But there are some parts that could be considered scary to smaller kids. My youngest clenches up when he see's the vampire but it really is not a scary movie!

I HAVE ALWAYS WANTED THIS MOVIE, BUT DIDN'T THINK THEY MADE IT IN THE DVD VERSION. I AM HAPPY I FOUND IT. BECAUSE I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. IT WAS FAST GETTING TO ME. AND I GREATLY APPRECIATE THE SELLER'S HONESTY.

i loved being able to find a movie from childhood, it brought a very good nostalgia feeling back, especially since the dvd came to me so soon.

Great Movie! I was talking about it with people I work with. None of them had ever heard of or seen it! I found it on ebay and watched it with all of them. Not only did it remind me of my youth (growing up in the 80's) but it made all of the new watchers believers and spurred them on to watch other great 80's nmovies like Monster Squad and Goonies! Great movie, fun, simplistic, and all around enjoyable.

This movie is one of my favorites from my childhood. Its has everything, its funny and scary and just plan intertaining. All will enjoy the recreation of there favorite scary monsters.

I wanted the movie for my home collection. It was in great condition, and the shipping was very fast. I would buy from these guys again.
