The Man in the Iron Mask (DVD, 1998, Standard and Letterboxed; Checkpoint)

I think most of us know the outline of the story. The queen gives birth to twin sons. One son is hidden and raised by a commoner family. At a later the son is imprison for no apparent reason and forced to live in an iron mask in a guarded tower. He is later rescued. This story is full of twists and turns. Will the evil prince live to rule? It is an entertaining evening.

I think tis is a great movie. Has acction, drama, has little commedy and some history. Is a well made movie.

I like the item was new and never been open. I also like that it came in just in time. There is nothing that I dislike about this item. I bought this dvd because this is the movie I wanted.

When the movie originally came out I saw it once and didn't think of it again. Years later I saw it on cable after I had come back from France. I fell in love with the movie again because I visited the chateau where it was filmed. Also I do love period films. DiCaprio does well enough playing the prick and the good guy. It grows on you.....

The irony of the film leaves the viewer pleased. The film is an excellent film, which in its documentary style is great for most people to watch. This too is an above average film.

Definately one of my favorite movies! And I don't really care much for DiCaprio either! I must admit tho, he did a wonderful job in this movie! The three Muskateers is a timless story that can be enjoyed by anyone of any age. This version, altho isn't entirely about the three muskateers, is a definate must have in any respectable video library!

I just love this movie and all I had to do was put the name in. Got it for a GREAT price AND new out the box didn't have to leave home.

i love this movie...i had bought it in vhs but when i saw it in dvd i decided to buy it as well...my daughter watches it all the time and since she watches it on the playstation i needed it in dvd...i will probably need another one as she plays it all the time

This is a great movie with so many dark scenes but also some great humor in others. It really made me think if these kinds of things happened back in that era!

Is a very good movie. I like because the production was excellent. The wardrobes, the actors, the scenes, the work of the director transport you to the time and place that evoke. Perfect for the people lovers of the 19 century.

Ever since that i have watched this movie.I just loved it.this movie is very interesting.there is not to many movies that catch my attention like some movies do.and this was just one of them.
and I would buy it again.

A wonderful action movie with a young DeCaprio starring in it. I enjoyed the casting of the Musketeers. This is a movie I can watch over and over. Comedy, action and drama all rolled in to one.

We are old Musketeer Fans, and this movie far surpasses any other 3 Musketeers.
Casting is superb. Watch it at least every 3 months.

A good movie and very enjoyable. love the actors who starred in this movie. i throughly like movies of this genre.
