Without a doubt, THE LONG, LONG TRAILER is one of the funniest movies ever made! When this film was released in 1954, at the height of I LOVE LUCY'S popularity, it became the highest grossing comedy ever released to that date. Audiences flocked to see it - Lucy and Desi on a cross country RV trip - what could be better?! There are many hilarious scenes in the film. My favorites are when Desi tries to take a shower in the cramped RV and has a fight with the shower head, Lucy's trip into the mud, and Lucy's absolutely side-splitting attempt to cook in the trailer while it's moving.
This movie is perfect for the entire family to enjoy. It will keep you laughing from beginning to end. Get out the popcorn and enjoy this wonderful comedy classic! Get this and other classic Lucy titles from Movie Magic USA!

This movie is a classic. If you own a trailer you can identify with the 1st time you took it out and were learning. Very funny! My niece loves the I love Lucy shows. The new generation hasnt seen good clean comedy which this is. anyone can make comedy off color but how many have the wit and gift to make something funny and not dirty!

We really like the movie so any review coming from us would be bias. So I'll mention a few points about this particular DVD. I was hoping for a FULL restoration " even though it did not say so on the cover " and it was not. It is however clearer than we have ever seen it so I am sure you are in for a treat if you were just watching the movie on VHS. There are a few extras and it is close captioned with sene selections. Hope you enjoy. As far as the sound it is the most improved. Even made Ragu of Beef sound good ;)

The Long, Long Trailer is a classic comedy that delivers laugh after laugh as the two newlyweds explore life together in the comfort of tight quarters. As my wife and I travel together in our vintage trailer, we will often think of the adventures Lucy and Desi enjoyed and make sure not to collect too many rocks.

Many years ago we had viewed this movie as a family,recently we were talking about the movie and thought were is it to be found. Lets try E-Bay! The rest is history.We enjoyed the content of the movie for the following reasons; a good story line from beginning to end...almost an seemingly real situation...good verbal content that children could view and listen...most of all it made us all laugh (without having crude jokes)

Beautiful 50's movie Starring Desi Arnez and Lucille Ball doing what became their signature roles of The Lucy Show fame. Excellent filmwork. A movie you won't be afraid to have children watch. What made this film special to me was the fact I have owned one of these New Moon Trailers for over 20 years and it is lived in today by my children. I personally know from hauling it 1500 miles that it can be a bit to deal with! I give it an A+ overall.

I love this movie. The only thing that is weird about watching it is hearing Lucy call Ricky "Nicky" and hearing Ricky calling Lucy "Tracy". Other than that it is like a super long Lucy episode...which is a good thing.

This is an absolute classic that can never be outdone. I first seen this movie about forty years ago and have yet to see a movie that makes me laugh like this one did, and does.
It's good clean hilarity at it's best. No violence, no sexual innuendos, no filthy language.
The Long Long Trailer is a movie that should be in every household that appreciates true comedy.

I was disappointed in the movie but to be fair I was expecting it to be the same I Love Lucy characters. My 9 year old loves I Love Lucy so I bought this for him. We watched it together. It was mildly funny but odd for my son because he is use to hearing a studio audience laughing in the background. There is no background laughing in this movie so he didn't know how to take some of the scenes. I wish I didn't buy the movie because I don't see us ever watching it a second time....but I'm only out around $10 so it's ok.

This is a great movie with the classic Lucille Ball. She is still hilarious to me even when she's not "Lucy". I've been looking for this movie and am very excited to re-live the first time I saw it over and over again. It's a movie that everyone will want to own after seeing it for their first time. It's amazing how different times are. You really get the sence of the "50's" decade when watching this.
