Academy Award Winner Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson star in this action filled movie.

After eight years of amnesia, schoolteacher Samantha Cain (Davis) learns she was once a lethal assassin for the CIA and now her former employers wnat her dead. Pursued by a hi-tech army of corrupt government renegades, Samantha teams up with a wise cracking detective (Jackson) who helps her uncover the past before it kills them both.

This movie is well acted with what I consider Geena Davis' best performance. Samuel L. Jackson delivers his standard character - a basically hard core, hard swearing good guy doing the right things for the wrong reasons. If you are worried a female star can't move an action movie this will change your mind. When finished with the movie I'm pumped and so is every girl I've evre watched this with. The transformation from amnesia schoolteacher to leathal assassin is believable and intense.

Not recommended for kids because of language and violence, both are standard fair for an action movie.

If you are even thinking of getting this movie - get it.

Gina Davis plays a small town mother and housewife that has no memory of anything that's happened before the last five years. Samual Jackson stars as a seedy private eye she's hired to find out. Sometimes it's best not to know.
Their investigation leads them on a thrill a minute ride in what is one of the best action films I've ever seen. Gripping and violent, while still being funney, The Long Kiss Goodnight is a movie to be enjoyed by both the sexes.

This is an ammazing movie -- Funny and witty and full of blow you on your @$$ action sequences that will have you wetting your pants and asking for more. if you don't buy this movie your children will make fun of you for being square.

One of my all time favorites. Geena Davis is superb. Action packed, full of suspence. I usually don't like movies like this but this one is differant. It combines adventure and action with love and compassion. It shows just how far a person will go to protect a loved one and that we are capable of so much more than we realize

This is a movie I never get tired of watching. If you like movies with action/adventure tinged with comedy throughout, and colorful, exciting photographic effects, you will love this one. The cast is great. Having viewed it in both the cut and uncut versions, I do need to say while the uncut version is everything mentioned above, I did find the cut (censored) version somewhat dull and boring.

This is one of my favorite movies and I wanted to get it on DVD. It was a good buy and just like new.

This is one of my all time favorite films. I'm sure I've seen it at least 2 dozen times. The realtionship between Geena Davis and Samuel L. Jackson is superb. Action, action, action. Humor, it's got that too! The scene in the car with the radio and the song lyrics!!Great cinematography, scenery detail, this is just the best of the best films...like the original Die Hard or Lethal Weapon. I bought 2 copies so I'll always have copy on hand for when there's a lull during family visits...guaranteed to wake up any sleeping husbands, children, uncles, etc...ENJOY!!!!!!

I really like this movie because it's action packed from beginning to end. The first time I saw this movie I totally loved it...mainly because the main character is a woman who can seriously kick butt. Samuel L. Jackson also adds to the hilarity of the movie.

Whoa, hold me back. This movie is fantastic. Geena Davis is absolutely superb as a hit woman and Samuel Jackson a a ne'er do well private eye is too much. I love this movie.

I really liked the plot of the movie and the action was not that bad either. The price was reasonable. I could have gotten at Blockbuster for $14.99 but I only paid $7.00 including shipping. I would highly recommend this movie.

I decided to buy this dvd because it is one of my favorite movies of all time. I ordered it and it arrived in an acceptable amount of time and in the described condition. The service was great and I would purchase from this seller again.

This movie came on and I wanted to watch and I had to leave during the movie so I decided to look on ebay and find out if I could find it and I did the price was right so that's what I did. And this is one of my favorite movies

I miss this movie. I had it and lost it in a house fire, and it was one of my first I wanted to replace. I am not really a Geena Davis fan, but in this film I feel she even surpassed herself. Her and Samuel L. Jackson deliver action packed, great roles, making this an excellent film.

i purchased this movie because it is a great movie. it comes on tv all the time just not on cable. now i can watch in when ever i feel like it, in full with no commericals and no bleeps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The movie 'the long kiss goodnight' is not what it seems. A young woman who marries and has a little girl lives the american dream for just a few years.
She has no memory of her past, suffering some kind of amnesia. So she sets off to find her past and the action starts when a deranged escaped convict bent on
killing this woman shows up at Christmas at her house and the action begins. From then on it's none stop action & many a suprising twist & turns. The climax is a spectular tanker explosion on the Canada, US border bridge. This is one movie not to miss & would recommend it for it's family values, & James Bond action shots along with her co star Samuel . Of course there are plenty of cute jokes during most of the action keeping the audience on their toes.

This movie will stir up different emotions within you. This is an excellent, excellent movie. When it was released I seen it at the movie theater.

Davis and Jackson what a pair.! Neat how such talent can truly act amidst the violent presentation of the long kiss! I wouldv'e accepted this if it were some blonde hollywood witch. It is a great movie!!

This movie is totally awesome!! It really shows what an amazing actress Gena Davis is and how versatile she is. Samuel Jackson and Gena Davis make for an unusaul team,they really ended up complimenting each other beautifully.

My husband and I loved this movie!!! It was brilliantly made! this thriller is outstanding!! We have seen this movie many many times and it is still compelling. Samuel Jackson's character is very funny and Gina Davis's character is cunning , tough and really cool!!!
