I'm not sure how you can fault The Little Mermaid - a delightful Disney cartoon that has lasted the test of time and remains, years after its release, one of the classic Disney movies. Like most Disney films, The Little Mermaid is rich with family entertainment - the story and visuals that delights kids and the sophistication that adults enjoy in family films. Kids enjoy Ariel and her lineup of underwater friends - adults enjoy the dialouge and story. While the visuals aren't necessarily the finest ever - the music, the characters and the humor are plenty entertaining and certainly long-lasting.
The Little Mermaid DVD has been in high demand on eBay for as I long as I've checked - and for good reason! This is a classic DVD that any family will enjoy. Excellent addition to any DVD library. Enjoy!!

This movie is almost perfect. My sister in laws movie broke many years ago, but she didn't find out about it tell just about a month ago. So I felt bad about it and found this one for her. I was nearly in brand new condition. When I brought it to her; she asked me if I had taken the org. plastic seal off of it.

got exactly what I wanted.I liked it. I bought it for my little girl. She was very excited about the movie. Unfortunately her's got destroyed by our VCR. She has watched the movie a number of times already and it seems to be in mint condition as described. The case was in very nice condition and I believe I payed a reasonable price.

This is one of my favoite disney master pieces. My iece and I watch it all the time. This is a classic example of why disney is so great, while many of there more recent movies have been disipointing from an adults entertainment and artistic veiw, this and many other classic titles are just so beautifully done, You MUST see this film...

i bought the item on aug.17 and still have not recived item i contacted the seller and was i was told it was sent out on the 19 of aug. but when i recived a letter with the tracking # it was sent to another state and the seller told me that she sent it to the address thats on my account thats here in las vegas but the tracking number that i recive was from a totally diffrent location and that person said its the ups fault! so i am going to find out today were was the item sent to because i do not have the item.so i will just find out and see what happends from there.

I love The Little Mermaid and for being so old the video was in awesome condition. The color of the case was a little dingy, but what do you expect when it's really old? I was very pleased with movie and I appreciate how well taken care of it was!

The Little Mermaid- Black DiamondEven though this edition got recalled it is a HELL HELL OF AN ARTWORK. whoever drew this box is a genious. The Little Mermaid is the best movie i have ever seen in my life. Im nearly 20 and i can remember the first theatrical commercial of this movie on the black diamond peter pan. I am a boy and im not afraid to admit i love this movie. it dont MATTER YOUR gender or your age for this movie. EVERYONE I MEAN EVERYONE NEEDS TO SEA THIS! It teaches you to follow your dreams and DONT GIVE UP.

THIS MOVIE CAME OUT WHEN MY DAUGHTER WAS A SMALL CHILD.SHE WAS ARIEL FOR HALLOWEEN AND WE GOT COSTUMES FROM ALL OF THE CARACTERS IN THE MOVIE PUT THEM IN A FLOAT IN THE HALLOWEEN PARADE AND WON FIRST PRIZE.EVERYONE LOVES THIS MOVIE ABOUT THE BEAUTIFUL MERMAID WHO FALLS IN LOVE WITH THE MORTAL MAN.

I like the tape, but it is for my son who has Autism and has not got using DVD's yet. I did like the fact that I got the tape very fast and there was no problem with it! I'm sorry I do not have more to say.

The Little MermaidI have been looking for the Little Mermaid on VHS for years. Its my favorite. I don't like the new "DIGITALLY ENHANCED" stuff. Its not the same! Colors r not true and it takes away the true art work/the talent of the artist. not everything should be perfect... Not anything should be perfect! I'm satisfied with my purchase and the price was right.

It wasnt bad but there should be more of a strict policy about people writing the description about their items. They never said that the case had some crack in it and that the tape plays funny, but I guess you get what you paid for. Thats fine with me...

I got the Tape faster then I thought I would and it was in even better shape then I thought. I am very picky about things like that, and I was totally surprised. It made me very happy. I have it up were it will not be watched or nothing. I have the later version, both VHS & DVD where they changed the cover for everyone to watch. It is great to have this copy again.

Ok, the movie is the greatest movie on this planet. My children love it and my grandparents love it, even my great aunt loves it. As a matter of fact, I believe that my kitty cat also loves this most grand film. However, I just realized that the art on this "banned" cover has a male organ on it. How do I know that? Well for starters, years ago I took a physical education class, and we learned about what this male organ looks like. Where is the image you may ask? The image is masked as a tower in the center of the castle. You must have the classic version of this movie to see. If you do, I suggest you make Disney pay you lots of money as a just settlement on having your life scarred. Even though this movie is an all American classic that everybody loves, people are for the most part jerks...so why not take advantage of this plain and simple fact and complain to Disney, even though they banned this cover already. Whatever you do, do not let your children see the cover. Well, cheerios!
