The Little Mermaid (VHS, 1990)

I bought this as I already have Ariel - In the Beginning which was the first in this series and the children all love to watch this over and over. I enjoy watching this as well as it is quite entertaining. The music is splendid and the animation is absolutely fabulous and it really keeps the small ones tuned in to watch throughout the entire movie and they will talk about this movie for days after they have seen it. I recommend this movie as a must have for youngsters and the "young at heart".

I bought this along with another children's VHS movie, Aladdin. I was very pleased with the condition and good quality of the picture. Since I still have a VCR at home, I do make use of it from time to time. The children's movies are wonderful to have on hand when my grandchild is visiting.

seller opened an unpaid item case and i responded by telling seller that if money order wasnt received i would fix it.. (pay by paypal or send new money order) seller NEVER responded to me a few days later they gave me an unpaid item strike when i DID pay... i have 100% feed back for being a fast payer seller has 93% feedback due to several items that were never received BUT PAID FOR!!

The case was listed in fair condition, but came in poor condition. The tape is fair condition. I bought the product for the case, and I was disappointed!

Our whole family loved this movie when it came out. My Daughter who was born a premie had to watch this movie at least 5times a day so we had to buy another copy of it because it was used so much it doesn't play so well any more. Even with my daughter now in collage she still loves this movie so when she comes home on break she can watch it again. Disney movies have always made memories for so many families and they're all classic's. And now I have this copy for my grandkids when I become grandma.

i love the movie and my former boyfriend refused to sell it to me and it's no longer available in stores.

my daughter wanted the little mermaid orginal on vhs for her 19th birthday. the tape was just like I remember it from when I purchased it the first time we perfer vhs to dvds

This is one of my favoite disney master pieces. My iece and I watch it all the time. This is a classic example of why disney is so great, while many of there more recent movies have been disipointing from an adults entertainment and artistic veiw, this and many other classic titles are just so beautifully done, You MUST see this film...

got it for my daughter she loves it the whole thing especially the song under the sea and sebatian the whole video was worth seeing

Ok, the movie is the greatest movie on this planet. My children love it and my grandparents love it, even my great aunt loves it. As a matter of fact, I believe that my kitty cat also loves this most grand film. However, I just realized that the art on this "banned" cover has a male organ on it. How do I know that? Well for starters, years ago I took a physical education class, and we learned about what this male organ looks like. Where is the image you may ask? The image is masked as a tower in the center of the castle. You must have the classic version of this movie to see. If you do, I suggest you make Disney pay you lots of money as a just settlement on having your life scarred. Even though this movie is an all American classic that everybody loves, people are for the most part jerks...so why not take advantage of this plain and simple fact and complain to Disney, even though they banned this cover already. Whatever you do, do not let your children see the cover. Well, cheerios!

The item was in really good shape, you could watch it and the picture was good. The only reason I bought it was because I wanted to see the cover of the tape, the orginal one.

I love everything about it. I bought it cause it is banned and hard to get. I had one of the first copies, but it was stolen from me. I had to replace it.

I like Disney movies and I didn't have this one. So I decided to go on line to see if I could purchase it, and there it was. Ebay is the best way to find what you want. Beside the fact that its fun and exiting.

The video,case and cover are all in excellent condition for almost being 20 years old. I decided to buy this VHS tape because I am a collector of rare items, and this tape is very rare because of the discontinued design on the cover.

I thought it had a great story line. Good characters. Great voices. I just love to get disney movies.
