Delightful illustrations from the "Little House " illustrator, Garth Williams. Fun book to use to bring a "tatse" of these beloved stories to life!

This book is wonderful...it has excerpts from the Little House books and the recipes are fun to do! It even has adaptations for modern cooking. I'm using this for homeschooling and it's fantastic! I definitely recommend this book.

This cookbook is delightful to read. We are using it as part of our homeschool experience to learn about life 140 years ago. The stories are fun and the weaving of story and recipe is well done.

I decided to purchase this book because as a child I loved to watch Little House, and thought having a cookbook with their recipes would be just great!

It is a good size, recipes are simple, nostalgic. Purchased the book as a gift to my son who is old fashioned. He grew up with Little House and has the book series so it is only fitting he want the cookbook. He is a chef and cooks everything from scratch.

I purchased this book to accompany the Prairie Primer, which is a year long Teaching Unit based on the beloved Little House on the Prairie books. As a homeschooling Parent, I was looking for something to span four different grade levels, and meet my children's Educational goals as well as keep their interest. They are aniticipating both preparing and eating a vast majority of the recipes in this cookbook, as we have already browsed through it. I am just thrilled with this purchase!

I love this cookbook because I am fascinated about the era of the pioneers. I have been a fan of Little House on the Prairie show as well as the books. Great recipes.

This cookbook is a great addition to the Little House collection. I'm so happy we ordered it. I like that most of the recipes serve 6. We have 6 in our family, and most cookbooks recipes are for 4. We have only tried a couple of the recipes, but are looking forward to trying more!

I bought this because I am reading The Little House Books to my kids and we are intrigued by all the neat things these people used to eat. It is a beautiful book filled with all kinds of interesting recipes that we can't wait to try. So far the only one we've tried is the homemade eggnog, that was such a treat! Next my son really wants to try Apples-N-Onions!! Couldn't be happier with the book. I also like how the book highlights the portions of the stories where the recipes were spoken of before each recipe is given. Makes it even more interesting. We love it!

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. I think she will find it amusing -- especially since I gave her the set of Little House ... books for her birthday.
