The Little Book That Beats the Market by J. Greenblatt, Joel Greenblatt (2005, Hardcover)

I found that this book had a lot of really good information in it. It really opened my eyes to some new investing stratagies. I found it well written, and easy to read. I deffinatly recommend this book for anyone that wants to learn more about the stock market.

Book was recommended by a co worker. Excellent book explains the stock buying process in plain english that a child can understand. It gives examples regarding the plan it suggest.

Excellent - Author has a way to take all the confusing terms and explain simply. Recomended reading for all novice and mid-level investors. He cuts through all the bull that you read in "newletters" that sound so complicated with the ratios; ratings and explain them simply and clearly so you won't forget byt the time you read the next article.

I had know idea on how to invest. This book gave me a great idea on what to do even though I don't have the funds right now. This book is so easy to understand, a first grader could figure it out. That is actually why the author wrote the book. He wrote it for his children, it would be the gift that keeps on giving. Anyways its all in the preface but this is seriously a great book, it was recomended to me by a friend and I recomend it to you. Enjoy!

Seriously, I took a flyer on this book. I was aware that the author was an excellent hedge fund manager. This excellent book was written for his kids. Given the lack of financial education in most schools this book might just light and enhance a few sparks of interest.

I didn't like this guy's condescending language toward those of us who work for a living. I was looking for concrete information but instead this is a book written for one purpose only - to help this guy make money! Don't fall for it. His web site has even less information than the book!

The Author is very well accredited, he is a proffesor at Colombia, graduate of Wharton, and manager and part founder of a successful investing place. He makes excellent points, explains things so well and simply a novice (like me) could completly understand. His advice is vert good and I highly recomend this book!
