This game has much better graphics then the former Zelda games. Its action packed with new puzzles,different bosses, new scenery, a few new characters, new levels, and some new weapons.

In this new and improved version of Zelda you gain the ability to warp from one place to another as you try to rid the land of the Twilight that has taken it over. No more stupid games to try and win a horse. The horse is yours from the start of the game and as well as being able to change the name of Link to one of your choice you are now able to change Epona's(the horse's) name as well.
In this game Link transforms has the ability to transform into a wolf and use new attacks and abilities such as a ghost sense. In the wold form he can also talk to animals.

The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the official sequel to the classic Ocarina Of Time for the N64. Fans have anxiously awaited this sequel and it does not disappoint.

pros:
Interesting story line ties the events in the past Zelda games together. The graphics are really pushing the gamecube to its limits, and the sound production is top notch. The game world is immense and there are many side quests for Link to complete. Link is now able to transform into a wolf, this is novel for the series and yet it is a nice addition. The gameplay is filled with variety and is extremely fun and addictive.

cons:
The experience seemed a bit watered down to make it more accessible for the mainstream gamers. Also, Zelda Twilight's puzzles are too easy and are a step back from the Ocarina of Time in terms of challenge.

I am hooked on this game. I have been a fan of this game since I was 13. I have bought every single game since taht has came out. I love the graphics and the new story line. There is nothing I dislike about this game.

If you loved Ocarina of Time as much as I did, this will make you happy.

The graphics are gorgeous. The scenery is amazing. Everything looks beautiful, and the best part is it still feels like a Zelda game. They decided to revert back to the N64 Ocarina of Time/Majora's Mask style graphics (but much cleaner, of course) rather than the cell shaded Wind Waker. I like the realistic character design much more for Zelda than the cartoonish one from the other recent games.

You can also get Twilight Princess on Gamecube, but the Wii version has some extra benefits. One such benefit is the interactivity. When you go fishing, you use the motion sensitive controller to cast the line into the water and reel the fish back. This makes it a lot more fun than the somewhat tedious sit-there-and-wait-to-press-A fishing game in Ocarina of Time. I'm glad they revamped the fishing and brought it back. Also, it is much more integrated in the gameplay than the last fishing minigame in a Zelda game (which was, of course, in Ocarina of Time). You use fish in sidequests and for other purposes.

As far as the control, it feels very natural. You use one Wii-Mote and one Nunchuck together for it. You control Link's movement and targeting with the left hand and you use the right hand to move your fairy around with the motion sensor, and to supplement the left hand with looking around, that action button, and other functions. It's hard to explain without trying it yourself, but trust me, the controls are great.

You start out the game with your horse, Epona. You also get the option to name both Link and Epona when you start your file, although I'm not sure if this will have any effect other than what NPC's in the game call you. Sometimes games use naming for codes ("If you enter your name as ___, ___ will happen" type things) but somehow I doubt it for this game. Anyway, the controls for Epona are great too. Just like Ocarina of Time, you can press A to speed her up and jump over fences. She is very beautiful and detailed too. When you make turns, you can see Link pull in the reins. You use Epona for many minigames as well as just getting around. In the beginnig of the game, for example, you use her to herd goats into a shed. It's a lot of fun, and horseback riding is another feature I'm glad they brough back.

Also, don't worry if you saw Link with the weird goatherder outfit in all of the previews - he does get his original outfit later on. The dungeons are AWESOME. It's rated Teen, but Zelda games have never included inappropriate content in my opinion. You do kill monsters, but there is no realistic blood or gore, or suggestive themes. The rating says "Animated Blood, Fantasy Violence". Trust me, it's fine for kids. The action is all "hero against evil" type action. This game is a total blast, and both new and old-school Zelda fans will love it. Even if you've never played a Zelda game, try this one - it'll get you hooked.

Waited forever for this game...could not wait to get it...unbelieveable graphics and storyline...could not be happier. Not a game you will finish in a few days! Addictive!

THIS GAME WAS AWESOME. the bosses were very detailed, fun, the funnest parts of the game. I beat it w/o a guide, but you may want one to know where to go. The battle w/ gannondorf was the best part of the game. It is a little long, but it is the best of the series with number two as Ocarina of time. Link's detail was amazing. A must buy for any owner of a Wii or Gamecube.

I haven't played this newest Zelda yet. I just recently purchased it on ebay. I have to say though that the graphics are much improved over Windwaker(kandyass Link..lol);) I'm hoping that it will be just as awesome as The Ocarina of Time. Paying at least $65 for it ensures that the story will be longer and more involved...which is what I'm looking for. Also the new "twist" sounds interesting. There better be alot of dungeons to defeat along with a in-depth story line(hence RPG)....Hope it gets here soon, because I can't wait to play it!!!!

I was about to sell my Game Cube until I realized that Zelda Twilight Princess was also available for the game cube. I placed a bid and I am very satisfied with this game. If you like adventure and action mixed with puzzle solving, then I recommend this game. You can explore riding your trusted horse named Epona, and use everything from arrows to grappling-hooks and Iron boots. Once you are able to transform to a wolf at your command, the whole land of Hyrule is open. You do meet alot of characters along the way, and there are plenty of surprises in this game. If you enjoy the previous classics, then this will not disappoint. I really enjoy using the grappling hook, which can bring you any object that you can hold from far distances, also the wind boomerang but I prefer the grappling hook. The control is flawless, but aiming your bow while riding may take some practice. There is no shortage of fun mini-games for Link to try, such as fishing, ballon popping, and yes gliding with a chicken to grab rupees. Make sure you explore thoroughly and search for pieces of heart, as for every five pieces you gain an additional health-heart meter. And you will need as many of these as possible as the Bosses get bigger and truly test your skills as a fighter and a strategist. The only complaint I have about this game is when I have to turn it off to either eat or sleep and go to work, other than that its awsome. The only difference between this version and the Wii, is that they are a mirror image of each other. I strongly recommend a strategy guide if your in a hurry to see the story and to get by certain puzzles that are time consuming or to assist in locating all 45 pieces of heart. If you do not have surround sound,I recommend using your PC speakers, it gives this game an awsome sound. In closing I can say that I have not played a game this good in a long long time. Grab yourself a copy and enjoy!!

The Gamecube version of this game is just as good as the Wii!

Sure the controls that the Wii can feature are a new spin on the Zelda series, but if you're a fan of the series and a gamer at heart, you'll love this game (and save a little cash as well). Best of all, if you can't afford the new system, or can't seem to get a hold of one, you don't have to miss out on Link's latest adventure.

Great story line. Good graphics. An overall fun play. As a veteran of the Zelda series, I found it a little easy of a run-through, but entertaining non the less.

I played this game on both Wii and Gamecube great on both, easier to play on cube. A masterpiece all that makes Zelda great! After hating being the wolf I actually got to the point where he was cool to be.

This game is the best game I think I have ever played. The graphics are phenomenal and the gameplay isn't far behind. I would recommend this game to anyone Zelda fan or not. If you aren't a Zelda fan and you get this game....you will be. A definite MUST BUY for anyone with a gamecube. I have not played it for the Wii but I would imagine it is excellent for that too. Bottom line is this...Buy it, you won't be dissappointed!!

For the game cube, this is an awesome game. With great effects, sound, dungeons, and lots of things to find. I traded mine in for the Nintendo Wii version. But, this is a great game for all ages. No matter on what system it is played on. It keeps you on your toes throughout the whole game. I recommend this for anyone who has a game cube and looking for a fabulous game.

This Zelda is by far the best made for the Gamecube and older Nintendos. Much of the game pays tribute to the oldest Zelda games made. EXCELlent graphics, and a great stroyline. Absolutely recommend!!

The last installment of Zelda i played was Windwaker which was more cartoony in light of Twilight Princess. Twilight Princess is a darker version with a more
Legend feel to it (Movie with Tom Cruise). The lighting for particular levels changes and it gives you a kind of Silent Hill taste relative to the score. Its definitely one of my favorite games right now.

The game does get more expansive as you dive deeper and deeper into the story line which i appreciate considering the short duration of games now a days. Its definitely a must play.

I bought this video game for my 16 year old son for a Christmas present for his game cube. He usually beats most of the games in a day or less so I am a little leery about buying him new ones. But this game with it's many levels and challenges has kept him busy for over a week now. He keeps Thanking me for buying this very imaginative and colorful game. It is not a shooting game like so many of them are and the character in the game has to use many skills such as swordsmanship and even fishing! I even get caught up it watching him play it! So I am going to call this game Mother approved and a great pick if you don't like you kids playing games like grand theft auto or just mere boring shooting games. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who is looking to buy for a video game for a teen or older.It also comes in the wii version and the game cube version can be played on the wii.
