I am sorry to have to do this, but honesty is the best policy. I have amassed quite a collection of Alzheimer's Memoirs...of which "Making an exit" was the most hilarious. This book, sadly is so boring, it won't be read by me.Not much of the book is about the serious attributes that Alzheimer's plagues the victim with. Most was about the boring life of a previously politically involved
pretty much powerful woman's career, not the toll the disease took on her.I didnt buy the book to discover how powerful she was in Washington, just wanted to hear about how the Beast of Alzheimer's affected her...the ones that detail how the victims change so drastically are so touching, and interesting, not to mention the ones that are written with a big touch of humor...I have to be forthright and give this book a boring review...then again, if you are into politics, it would be right up your alley! The main reason I purchased this book, is because I have been purchasing most all the memoirs of lives destroyed by Alzheimers, especially after the jewel of a book, "Making an Exit".I have never laughed sooo hard before in my life.I had to buy another copy for my grown daughters.
