The L Word is, no doubt, one of the best series out there. It's not about sterotypes, it's not about gay women; it's about women, with all their flaws and strengths. Every character is treated in-depth so you'll get identified with more than one character, even if you're not female, lesbian, etc. The two previous seasons have been smashingly good. If you enjoy well written series and have an open mind this is for you. There are sad moments, hot moments, interesting moments.
It's always pelasant to watch the performances of the beautiful and talented actresses that delight us on this series, Laurel Holloman, Jennifer Beals, Erin Daniels, Katherine Moennig, Mia Kirshner, Sarah Shahi, Leisha Hailey, and the rest of the cast.
The plots of this third season may be a little more depressing than the past couple of seasons, but I still have my hope high that Ilene Chaiken will bring us even better stories in the upcoming fourth season.

I love the L Word and decided to buy the season as a gift for my friend. Unfortunately I was taken advantage of by the seller. I paid $50.04 through Google checkout and never received my item. I am very hurt because my friend never got her gift and I am a poor college student on a budget that lost $50. Therefore, I have decided not to order from ebay any longer. Amazon just seems more reliable seeing as they have a strict checkout policy to insure thier customer is satisfied!

Any true lesbian knows just by looking at the cover of these dvds that "honesty" was tossed in favor of Holywood glamor (ie: pretentious). Come on! High heels and little black dresses??? Long flowing Farrah Fawcett hair!?!?! What world are these lesbians living in? Certainly not the "real world". But what the hell...its fun and sometimes entertaining.

Gay Lifestyle Eye Opener
) I didn't particularly like this show because of graphic sex scenes between women but I passed it on to a male friend that found it to be worth his time. If you don't mind the sex scenes this series will open your eyes to the problems and situations facing gay women.

This is a very sad season. A lot of bad and sad things happen. For example Tina and Bet are going through a horrible separation. Kit finds out shes going through menopause. Shane cheats on Carmen. Dana has breast cancer and it goes on. ITS CRAZY, YOU HAVE TO WATCH IT~! ((YOU THINK YOU KNOW WHATS GOING TO HAPPEN, BUT EVERYTHING CHANGES WHEN YOU GET TO THIS SEASON, ITS NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT.))

ITS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS OUT THERE AND NOW I LOVE THE L WORD SEASON. ITS THE ONLY LESBIAN SHOW OUT THERE THAT COVERS EVERY TOPIC THAT THE LESBIAN WOMEN HAVE TO DEAL WITH AND HOW AT SOME POINT HAS FELT. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND THIS SERIES TO ANYONE. L word - 3rd seasoni bought the dvd series The L Word about 3 weeks ago. ever since i made this purchase i have loved every minute of it it has a great story line. i am very open minded and this dvd series qives you insight to a culture that has been given a fair chance in our society. so for me its always good something different.

I looked for this item because I love the series and already own the first two seasons. In-store prices are costly and so I went into eBay! I found a good deal and won the auction. The DVD came in excellent condition and the DVDs were original like the owner said. I have always trusted eBay sellers and have never been deceived by one in my entire eBay shopping history. It is very important to check the desriptions of the items before purchasing them and making sure you are ok with what the item is. These disks were used, for example, and I was ok with that.
