Reviews Review created: 07/17/08 by: I liked the overall game play of this game and the graphics were very good. The only thing negative is that the sound is choppy at times. I imagine this is due to older Cards. Review ID: 10000000008004611 Was this review helpful? I wanted to try this game out because I remember playing a demo of it that came bundled with the original edition of Riven. It's a pretty fun game and not as challenging as Myst or Riven, due to the fact that a "guide" (who you can silence) gives out periodic clues. It is an intelligently written game in terms of its storyline and must have been considered very well made (in terms of images) for its day, that is 1998. While some parts of it seem a little silly, it is generally a very memorable game--particularly for its portrayal of a 13th century Buddhist monastery (Shangri-la) in Tibet, its conjectures about the religious beliefs of Atlanteans, as well as the purpose of the lines of Nazca. It places all of these things very well into a sci-fi/fantasy context. If you like exploration games and have an old computer lying around, you might want to pick this up. It's really too bad that it has gone out of print. Review ID: 10000000006312517 Was this review helpful? Report this review 2 of 2 people found this review helpful. This game is awsome, in this game you go back in time to 5 diffrent time's wile working for the temprle agentcy. Your name is Gage Blackwood and you protect time from people who want to change it. Wile at work the alarms go off warning of a time shock wave. Some thing had changed in the passed and you have to find out what it was. Jumping back when atlantis was here and wile exploring there you find out why it disapeard from the face of the earth. Same with the legandry city of gold. you travil there to find out what some one from the future had done back in the past. This game is 11 out of a 1-5 scale. You can download the demo and if you like it as much as me happy hunting. The company no longer is around and copys are scares.
