We really enjoyed The Italian Job as they steal gold and pull a switharoo. This movie is loaded with suspense and it will keep your attention. Great action and acting.

Fantastic action thriller. The action scenes are worth the price of the movie.
A group of thieves steal gold from a safe in Venice and get away with a great chase scene through the canals of Venice. The group is doublecrossed by one of their members who makes off with the gold and the rest of the story is how they set him up and get the gold back. Fabulous cast and great photography make this movie a must see.

I Love HD-DVDGreat Movie and unreal picture and sound. I wish HD-DVD would still be in the race. I own both Blu-ray and HD-dvd. I think the HD-DVD has a better picture.

If you love MINI Coopers you'll love this movie.
This movie is by far better than the original, it makes you wish that your own MINI could actually do all the things they make it do in the movie.
The casting was perfect on this one, every fit very well into their role.

Upgrade to HD DVDI already have the SD DVD version of this film and wanted to experience the HD version. I particularly enjoyed the high quality HD scenes in Venice and other parts of Europe. A true action adventure film with enough wrinkles to make it interesting.

I really liked this movie and had to get it.It had action and was well written.Mark Wahlberg plays Charlie who's team just hit the mother load of a score.Problem is that one of their own (Edward Norton)double crosses them at the last second and takes the "take" for himself.Now Charlie reassembles his team with one goal in mind revenge! If you liked movies like The Score,Oceans Eleven,The Heist, or Confidence then this ones the one to check out.

If you enjoy mob films, this will be an excellent addition to your collection. It is similar to the Transporter and other suspense movies. The camera angles were well done and special effect sparkled.

Watching the previews, I remember thinking "This is my kind of movie!". I was looking forward to a movie like this with such a great cast.
Sadly, the movie just seemed to move along too slow for my taste. Also, even with a great cast, some of the lines come off as "not quite right" - the chemistry just didn't seem to be there.
This is not really a bad movie - it does have its moments - but without the expected chemistry between the cast members, it does leave you wanting more.
Bottom Line: Rent this if need be... watch it once.. and move on. It's simply not worthy of purchasing for repeat viewing.
