CLAUDE RAINS FIRST STARRING ROLE, AND YOU NEVER SEE HIM! ONLY HEAR HIS VOICE. BUT WHAT A VOICE, AND WHAT AN ACTOR. STARTING WITH THIS EXCEPTIONAL ROLE, CLAUDE RAINS DEVELOPED A VERY IMPRESSIVE BODY OF WORK. THIS IS ONE OF THE GREAT FILMS OF ALL TIME, BECAUSE OF THE EARLY TECHNIQUES USED, AND IS AS INTERESTING TO WATCH TODAY, AS WHEN IT WAS RELEASED. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED, ESPECIALLY WITH THE EXTRA FOOTAGE AND DOCUMENTARY MATERIAL THAT ACCOMPANIES THIS DVD.
