Imitation of Christ by Thomas A. Kempis (1952, Paperback)

This is an excellent book about how to live a holy, separated, sanctified life:
a subject most Christians know nothing about. It is a good daily devotional, and highly recommended during the season of Lent. Any beliver who reads this book will feel blessed.

Excellent spiritual reading gave me great direction to follow in my life. I had heard from numerous sources that this is a wonderful book and it has proved true.

Todd Agnew suggested this book as a cornerstone of Christian belief. I totally agree that it challenges you as a Christian to walk the path of Jesus and learn to be more like Him. It works on your heart and at times it is hard to get past a certain point, but I have come to realize that these are places where I struggle in my own walk. It is probably not for the new Christian, I would suggest reading the Bible first, but I haven't found a book that puts the expectations of Christ in such plain language. It is a hard hitting explanation of what God expects of us as His children, and gives very clear instruction of how to do so. I love this book, and recommend it to you.
