He is an accomplished song writer and is joined by talented collaborators. The subject matter of his songs are things that we all can relate to. Upbeat selections like "Past the point of Rescue", and "Hearts are gonna Roll" will get you tapping your toes, and others like "Hang in there Superman" will have you reliving childhood days gone by. His voice is crystal clear, and his music is good to listen to for all occasions. THIS is a great compilation of his work. Review ID: 10000000004277847 Was this review helpful? Report this review Hal's Best CD to DateHal Ketchum, a top-notch country rock style singer with terrific vocals, has released several CD's but none so far compares to this one. Though this is a compilation of his earlier works (1991 through 1996), his more recent attempts just haven't been all that good. This CD contains all of his best endeavors including several selections written by him, and the fidelity is superb as well.
